We were tired and had driven all day. We missed the turn-off for the better chains; got caught in the round-abouts and thought we had enough...until we checked in at the Olympia Inn. Sketchy to say the least. Normally, we would have been smarter but we were exhausted. However, once in the room, we perked right up and got out.... More

Short walk from downtown Olympia, was known as the Golden Gavel hotel. The room and linens were clean, and I didn't experience the bed bug problem so perhaps they have fumigated since then. Wifi worked fine and the lady behind the desk was helpful.

The hotel is a pretty good place with good facilities and location. However problems with bedlice are rife. We went as a school, and half of us were itching the whole of the next day. If possible, go stay somewhere else unless you don't care about bedlice and want a bargain. The food was good though.

Just do yourself a favor and find a different hotel. This is not worth the money, a little extra for a room is worth not the plentiful of bed lice you will bring home, not to mention it'll cost a pretty penny to get rid of them if they find their way to your home.

Within 5 minutes of walking into our room, my fiance noticed a cockroach, he started looking all over the room and saw a ton behind the fridge, we asked the front desk man to come and take a look, he did, didn't sound surprised at all. He moved us to another room, which was upstairs, no roach in sight, figured... More

This is one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed at, I am honestly not sure if the bedding had been washed or not, I am fairly certain there was a lady of the night working from one of the rooms down stairs, there was a loud argument right outside our door sometime after midnight. The price was not... More

My rating is a "3" only because this is not a fancy place. It is a step above Motel 6 - clean, good location and the price is incredible. The staff was very attentive and the room was fine for one night. I stress this is a place to stay because of the location and it is very reasonable. It... More

We ended up staying in this hole, as a last resort! The price seemed cheap so we didn't bother shopping round, that was our biggest mistake, as follows; The man on the front desk looked like he hadn't washed or changed his clothes since the 1960's, and what he lacked in charm he didn't make up for in customer service.... I stayed in this hotel as a last resort for a broken, unemployed and desperate man in his 30s. I chose to stay at the Olympia Inn for two reasons: Location and price. The location in undeniably good. Nested between the Sate Capitol and the local business district the hotel offered a short distance to do some job hunting and... More
