Wonderful place to stay when visiting Olympia. Beautiful setting, great location with easy access to everything in and around Olympia. Not only was the room very nice and comfortable, but we really enjoyed the restaurant and bar on site. Breakfast was perfect. As we had read in previous reviews, a little tricky to find the first time just because of... More

A good place to stop for a night or to spend time in Olympia. Good location close to park and capital. Clean and comfortable. We would stay again at this hotel. I would suggest adding a continental breakfast option- something quicker than the full breakfast buffet.

I stayed at this Red Lion for three nights, and was pleasantly surprised. Room was very clean and quiet, lobby was very inviting, dinner in the restraint was fabulous (Chloe was very friendly, and made great suggestions) and the morning front counter gentleman was very helpful. Check in was a little frustrating, as only one person at counter at 7:00... More

My room here was very nice, clean, and well maintained. I had two meals in the restaurant and both were very good for hotel food. The view of the pond was delightful from my table in the dining room. The meal service in the bar was amazing. I wish I had gotten my server's name so I could personally recognize... More

This was a very nice hotel for someone traveling with a dog. Friendly policy (one up front fee for the pet, not a daily one) and the rooms were nice and clean. Good for dogs, good for people. I was attending a conference and found the food a bit disappointing - very carb/pasta heavy. Sort of typical "american" food. But... More

We checked in around 2PM, dropped our bags, and headed for the bar for a late lunch. Oh, the VIEWS!!! The sun had come out highlighting the color in the trees, the pond was full of ducks, the hotel gardens were beautiful; wow. Lunch was great (Reuben sandwiches on excellent rye) and we went back for their Happy Hour "... More

I was having an awful trip until I got here. The staff is awesome, especially room service. I loved the property, its beautiful there and very peaceful. I wish I had been able to stay longer! I plan on returning.

Have been to this Red Lion 3 years in a row for the Halloween event. The rooms this year are horrible. The first room we were put in smelled like mildew and we realized that the floor was soaking wet. The next room they put us in smelled like rotten eggs and had dried blood on the bathroom door. This... More

Despite a Halloween party in the building, we had a nice and quiet stay. The maid staff were very friendly. Room was very clean with pillow top beds. We always upgrade to the premium rooms for easy assess to the outdoors. Molly and Joey our saint Bernards love the doggy goodie bags at check in.
