We arranged to stay here one night and then return after a night of camping in olympia Naitonal Park for another 3 more nights. It was Labor Day and we wanted to camp in the park, but could not get a site for the weekend. We are on the tail end of a very long vacaqtion and this hotel was... More

We were in Olympia for one evening and chose the Red Lion due to its location (the back part of the hotel overlooks the Capitol while being set in Parkland), First of all the hotel is big. it is only 3 stories but has a wide footprint. There is ample parking in a nice parking lot with pine trees. The... More

We have stayed here twice visiting relatives. We always bring our Cocker Spaniel, and the hotel is very dog friendly. They offer a "doggie bag" with treat, poopie bag & silly "Woof Woof - Do not disturb" sign when you check in. Ask for rooms on the ground floor with sliding door to the grass area if you have a... I stayed here as part of a golf group. I was given a large room with a deck, overlooking the pool and woods. The hotel and room was a little dated, but it was clean and the TV had a great picture. Outside noise was minimal. Staff were very friendly and we got an excellent rate. My main problem with... More

Got this in hotwire for a great price. The hotel is big and have a restaurant within it. We did not have a chance to try the pool area but it looked soooo nice. Go here if you value a good pool and spa high on your list. We whee greeted by a very sweet and dedicated lady in the... More

It was very noisy due to a wedding & drunk, crying young adults outside our room. When I reported this & explained I (& my child) had been kept up all night, no one seemed concerned. It was a horrible night for me. Our next night was quieter, but I felt dismissed & as if the situation should have been... More

Great rooms! We had a group of 13 young ladies for a soccer tournament and the loved the pool and breakfast buffet. The staff was great giving out extra towels, pillows and amenities. Nice quiet area yet close to Mall Capital Lake and Parks. One more thing the a/c heater had timers on them so you wouldn't have to listen... More

We took a quick night away for our anniversary but wanted to stay close to home. The staff was very polite and attentive and efficient. The property could use some sprucing up but overall it was good.

We stayed here for one night only, never again. We had phoned well in advance for a higher room with a whirlpool. We got the sub-ground suite right by the entrance doors. Half of the people there could not work the key system. The carpet was ripped and there were no drinking glasses and therefore had no coffee cups for... More

The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. The food was quite good as well, we had both room service and ate in the dining room. Grounds were nice, well kept and clean. Nice lobby area. Nice and dog friendly as well.
