We stayed at Doe Bay Resort in the Garden Spot. We stayed here for two nights. The rooms were a good value for the money. They can use a little updating to make them appealing but over good value for the cost. The employees were friendly and it was a very peaceful setting. Deer, rabbits and a peacock were spotted... Accommodations: We stayed in "Padma," a rectangular, basic cabin that can sleep up to 8 persons in two bedrooms (each with a double bed and twin bunk bed), with kitchenette (including crockery, basic kitchen tools, dinnerware, tableware, cups, coffeemaker, small refrigerator, etc.), table & chairs (seats only 4-5, though) and bathroom (shower only). Padma is listed as "pet-friendly" -- thankfully... More

Stayed in the Churri cabin. Small but a bathroom and deck. Just write and pooch friendly. Bed awful. They really need to do something about the bed. Everyone is so nice at Doe Bay! Love the service and the food in the cafe. Megan and Morgan were our favorites in the cafe. We loved the breakfast/brunch. I didn't get to... More

The perfect first trip to Washington. The Sweet Spot yurt was amazing; cold at times, so bring extra blankets, this was in August, the best escape from the Palm Springs heat. Hope to return one day, because the food was great and the vibe was right. Deathly allergic to bees, so be cautious all over the island if you are... More

On the Northwest-most populated Island in continental USA (Victoria Canada is south of here) at the farthest end of the road from the ferry on Orcas Island is Doe Bay Resort and Retreat Center. Standing on top of Mt Constitution there are phenomenal views of Canada, Washington, the San Juan Islands and Puget Sound. We rented the Retreat House (which... More

We had a lovely time at Doe bay. Two great soaks in the hot tubs overlooking the sound. Clothing optional spa. Love! We had breakfast at the Cafe and everything ordered was stellar! Already planned my next trip back. The cabin we stayed in was brand new and super comfy.

We didn't stay at Doe Bay, but ate there twice on our trip to the island. Our friends who live there had chose the place. Definitely an odd vibe. Very casual, with an eclectic mix of people. What we found odd was for 4 people, we spent $210 on dinner. This was for 4 entrees, 2 appetizers and 4 beers.... More

Orcas Island is just an amazing place..and to stay at Doe Bay Resort and Retreat made it even better, very relaxing atmosphere. Foods good to. The mornings sitting in the cafe looking over the bay are absolutely magical. This place is like a little piece of heaven for the mind. If you are looking for a weekend to relax than... More

We went here on our anniversary & were really disappointed for what we paid - $165 a night. Our cabin was the "Mala" & was located on a hillside a great distance from the cafe & soaking tubs. The "cabin" was really a small trailer that was built to look like a cabin. Extremely tiny bathroom that lacked a sink,... More

We stayed in Cypress cabin on the water. It had a full kitchen and a nice view form the dining table. It was no frills but clean. Lovely locale. The hot tubs and sauna were a real treat. It was a short drive from Moran Park and Eastsound. The staff was accomodating. Word of warning - we planned our trip... More
