I had reserved a tent site for the weekend of the 22-24th of August, my husband wanting to find out more about the location and stuff to do with our three sons, found that the hot springs are clothing optional. While that is fine if it were just him and I, not appropriate at all for a family getaway. My... More

So many negative things about this place. It was not a bad place overall but you need to be aware of the little things they don't mention. First of all you may not have a campfire at your campsite. You can't park near your campsite. The showers were rather scuzzy as were other amenities. The management is proud of their... More

We decided to take a couple days exploring San Juan islands and chose Doe Bay as our camping base. It was such a good idea doing so because we had an awesome stay there! We booked the Auklet campsite and both agree that it's the second to best campsite you could get there. Awesome view, cool breeze, not too shady... More

Had a terrible experience here. We arrived early in the day and they would not let us check in, even though we could see that our accommodations were ready. We booked 3 nights but had to leave after 1 night due to illness. Even though their cancellation policy online states "If you choose to shorten your stay with less than... More

We stayed at Doe Bay Resort in the Garden Spot. We stayed here for two nights. The rooms were a good value for the money. They can use a little updating to make them appealing but over good value for the cost. The employees were friendly and it was a very peaceful setting. Deer, rabbits and a peacock were spotted... Accommodations: We stayed in "Padma," a rectangular, basic cabin that can sleep up to 8 persons in two bedrooms (each with a double bed and twin bunk bed), with kitchenette (including crockery, basic kitchen tools, dinnerware, tableware, cups, coffeemaker, small refrigerator, etc.), table & chairs (seats only 4-5, though) and bathroom (shower only). Padma is listed as "pet-friendly" -- thankfully... More

Stayed in the Churri cabin. Small but a bathroom and deck. Just write and pooch friendly. Bed awful. They really need to do something about the bed. Everyone is so nice at Doe Bay! Love the service and the food in the cafe. Megan and Morgan were our favorites in the cafe. We loved the breakfast/brunch. I didn't get to... More

The perfect first trip to Washington. The Sweet Spot yurt was amazing; cold at times, so bring extra blankets, this was in August, the best escape from the Palm Springs heat. Hope to return one day, because the food was great and the vibe was right. Deathly allergic to bees, so be cautious all over the island if you are... More

On the Northwest-most populated Island in continental USA (Victoria Canada is south of here) at the farthest end of the road from the ferry on Orcas Island is Doe Bay Resort and Retreat Center. Standing on top of Mt Constitution there are phenomenal views of Canada, Washington, the San Juan Islands and Puget Sound. We rented the Retreat House (which... More

We had a lovely time at Doe bay. Two great soaks in the hot tubs overlooking the sound. Clothing optional spa. Love! We had breakfast at the Cafe and everything ordered was stellar! Already planned my next trip back. The cabin we stayed in was brand new and super comfy.
