This is like summer camp - the good kind- for adults. We have been here 2 times and love it. Both times we stayed in our tent. The camping space was a little pricier than many camp grounds, but it was worth it. The view from our campsite (walk in with carts to take your stuff in on) was wonderful.... More

We were excited to stay at this place over the long weekend, but upon departure today we vowed never to return. Unfortunately, we hadn't checked reviews before heading out. Other reviewers commented on the lack of standards which did not meet my criteria, having owned a cleaning business for almost a decade. We stayed in a free standing cabin which... More

This was a great place to stay in to visit Orcas island. we camped at this location and it was a perfect home base to explore the rest of the island. Having a full kitchen was perfect, it allowed the ability to keep the costs low and enabled us to enjoy some amazing dinners.

This is not a review of the cafe, but of the whole resort. We were here on a fall weekend for our niece's wedding, and had a great time. The fabulous views are what the place is all about. It's rustic; we stayed in one of the nicest cabins, and it was quite comfortable. We had breakfast in the cafe,and... More

One of the most beautiful settings for a stay but very very rustic. The trails to the restrooms (not in room) were poorly lit and dangerous. We had two nights booked and opted to go home a night early. Might as well just camp. The store is helpful and well stocked.

We reserved our site for 2 nights and left 1 day early. Our site was $60.00/day and it included a very narrow parking area for our van adjacent to a road and then a site we had to hike up to in order to pitch our tent. The site was sloped and had a steep drop off the back side. I... More

I liked it just fine although I'm from a quirky place too. Orcas Island is one of our favorites in the area. Stayed in a yurt, and it was comfortable enough, and the view from the spa tubs is great (If you go at night, they are clothing optional).

I had reserved a tent site for the weekend of the 22-24th of August, my husband wanting to find out more about the location and stuff to do with our three sons, found that the hot springs are clothing optional. While that is fine if it were just him and I, not appropriate at all for a family getaway. My... More

So many negative things about this place. It was not a bad place overall but you need to be aware of the little things they don't mention. First of all you may not have a campfire at your campsite. You can't park near your campsite. The showers were rather scuzzy as were other amenities. The management is proud of their... More

We decided to take a couple days exploring San Juan islands and chose Doe Bay as our camping base. It was such a good idea doing so because we had an awesome stay there! We booked the Auklet campsite and both agree that it's the second to best campsite you could get there. Awesome view, cool breeze, not too shady... More
