We were a bit saddened driving into town because the town seemed very quiet, almost dead (though it was a Sunday evening). However it was a good location to stay the night during our trip through the North Cascades NP. The rooms were small, but clean and quiet. Another review mentioned bad AC but the unit in our room seemed... More

We had a very difficult job in the area and after spending a weekend at their competitors in Okanogan were ready to pull out, until we could get better accommodations and thankfully the Cariboo Inn was there to surprise my co-worker and I. Extremely fair rates, friendly and accommodating staff and very clean, modern and cozy rooms were quite the... More

The hotel is in a brick building in the centre of town. Next door is a small restaurant which is internally connected to the hotel. The room was small, basic but OK for $60,- a night without breakfast (October 2013). There was a small flat screen TV. The bathroom was very small but clean. There was a strong free Wifi... More

We spent 1 night in room 202 as a stop over on our way to Vancouver from Glacier National Park. Mike met us at the Inn to let us in and show us the room and give us the key. It seems there is not someone on-site, at least not all the time. The Inn was built in 1925 with... More

A great old fashioned inn full of character and interest. Rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable with tv and wifi if needed. Bar seemed to be popular with locals and guests, with live music (sat night). The inn itself was fine, but the street noise outside went on until quite late, so maybe get a room towards the back?... hey! On our way back to British Columbia, we stopped in for breakfast, and along with big servings, the breakfast was awesome. Big serving of hashbrowns, 4 big slices of bacon, 2 large eggs, plus a side of either toast or a pancake. Great friendly service. My son said as we were driving away, "Real genuinely friendly, not a sign... More

The newly remodeled rooms are pleasantly awaiting our next trip to Okanagan, WA The convenient location plus restaurant / bar on premises was a plus. The staff is very pleasant and went out of their way to make us feel at home. This is a hidden gem waiting to be found!

Driving around Washington without much of an itinerary lead us in the early evening to an area without little to offer regarding accommodations. We were glad to stumble on this little gem since the other two lodging listings in Okanogan were rather grizzly sounding. The rooms were small, rustic, clean and cozy and the bath all new. This is a... More
