Ocean front Nautilus Condominiums are located in beautiful Ocean Shores, WA All 24 units in the Nautilus condo building are individually and privately owned. Each unit is a unique and delightful reflection of its owner. No two units are the same. Some units have full time residents, others are vacation homes, and some opt to rent their units when they would otherwise be vacant. The Nautilus condo building is ocean front and in the heart of Ocean Shores in one of only two zones legally permitting overnight rentals. The untis are typically booked solid in the summer while offering intermittent availability in the winter. Considering a stay at the beach? Consider a condo at the Nautilus. They're relaxing, comfortable, ocean front, 1-bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens. Most units have wood-burning firepalces, top third floor units enjoy vaulted ceilings and sweeping views of the dunes and surf. Wifi is available building-wide, and some units also provide private high-speed wifi.

We stayed in room 303. It was very nice and clean with a wonderful ocean view and balcony. Plenty of utensils for cooking, stove and refrigerator were great. It’s very close for clam Digging at Copalis beach. Nice and warm. Nice little fireplace. You can use presto logs in. We would use it again.

Room Tip: The dishwasher in this unit was particularly noisy. If you run it do it when you’re gonna be gone

We were doing a remodel at our house and they were going to resurface the hardwood floors and we had to be out of our house for a few days. My wife and I decided to go to ocean shores to relax during our stressful kitchen remodel. We stayed at the Nautilus 305. We've stayed at the Nautilus years ago but nothing recently. The Nautilus may not be a bright gem on the outside but 305 is very well appointed and comfortable for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable The unit was clean, kitchen well stalked with supplies to make your own meals. It's on the top floor so it has the best views in this complex The weather was cooperative and it was very nice sunny around 65 to 70.

Just wrapping up a weekend of R&R I have to commend the owners of Nautilus #305. They do use a rental agency in town, and I found working with them very easy. The communication from At the Beach Rentals was excellent. Arriving at the Nautilus, the exterior is quite nondescript and took me back to stating at coastal motels as a child. Once inside, however, #305, was updated, clean and homey. The decor is current, and very tastefully executed. The full kitchen is stocked with every amenity one might need to make meals in. The bathroom was clean, (and I am very picky.) The Bedroom was SO cozy, with a very comfortable bed. And the view....I could have sat on the balcony staring at the ocean the entire time. We enjoyed a movie (one of many provided by the owners,) while listening to the waves. I cannot say enough about this little hidden gem.

Staying at the Nautilus Sunday and Monday nights. The room is clean and close to the beach. Within walking distance to all the great shops and restaurants. Tammy at the office was especially wonderful, giving me the scoop on the best places for seafood, Mexican and desserts. She was a real gem; making certain everything was as it should be.

We stayed in Unit 308 via Airbnb. General issues common to all units: Great location, center of town, easy access to shops, a walk through the bush about 1 mile to get to the beach, ocean is visible but you cannot hear it. There is a hot tub but the hours of use are limited to 5pm to 9pm. Unit 308: it was clean and smelled of a chlorine based cleaner but there was dog hair on the furniture and on the bed. The bed (this is how I really judge accomodation) was pitiful - it listed to starboard so severely you couldn't stay in the bed on that side. The toilet leaned also. The kitchen didn't have 4 matching glasses to drink from, there was no dish scrubber and it had no condiments apart from salt and pepper. I guess we were expected to buy even sugar to use. A note in the kitchen strongly suggested we were to do the dishes and tidy up the unit before leaving - even though we paid a cleaning fee. It was 65 outside in the evening and the tiny fireplace heater couldn't even warm the place up properly, so I'd be wary about staying when it was actually cold outside. Overall - this unit may be fine if you are aware of all these faults but as travellers expecting somewhere decent to stay, it really didn't fit the bill.

I would not recommend. This is managed by At the Beach Rentals, Inc. I made a reservation for the Nautilus 4 days prior to my trip. Unfortunately the weather forecast deteriorated and the National Weather Service issued a high wind watch, estimating 60 mph winds and unsafe travel conditions. The customer service person I spoke with was rude and was totally unwilling to roll a $87 deposit to a different date, even though I explained it was unsafe for me to travel 3 hours to the beach. They have a 14 day cancellation policy and are very strict, so beware when making plans. I definitely won't stay at any At the Beach Rentals properties in the future.

We were interested in purchasing unit 204 and found we could rent the room, so we chose to stay in the room for a couple of nights. The room was a little outdated, but the rental price was right at about $115 to include the cleaning and taxes per night. The room was clean and had a nice view. The problems included the wi-fi was terrible and did not work most of the time. The cable worked most of the time with a few outages for our two night stay. The main tv in the living room was about a 21 inch diagonal unit, too small to watch tv, and the bedroom tv was even smaller and useless. Another issue was the shower took awhile to drain as it appeared to be partially clogged. The listed hot tub is only available 5 to 9 pm, and you had to walk over to the on-site managers office and knock on the door to get access to the hot tub. The hot tub water was clearly lacking the chemicals to keep the water clean. Overall, not a bad price for a clean room with a view only. If tv, wi-if and a hot tub are important, stay away.

Beautiful view, spacious, feels like home, everything in the kitchen you need, super clean! However, lumpiest bed & awful pull out couch! No joke, 4deep dips in bed, we stuffed pillows all around us trying to get comfortable. Reluctant to give up the room, #204 needs new mattresses!

Hubby and I come here about once a year to see friends. This year, rather than booking the traditional hotel room, we booked a condo at the Nautilus, 307 to be exact. We booked through a site more often associate with places other than hotels. The outside may need a little TLC, but specific to our condo, the place is lovely-well appointed. Kitchen for eating in, fluffy towels, wall mounted TVs in main and bedroom, nicely appointed kitchen (utensils, dishes, etc..). The basics mind you, but enough to get by. Bed is comfortable, a great little sitting deck that overlooks a beach sort of far off (lots of scrub brush in between, you see a lot of that here in O. S.)... But lovely. There is a hot tub on site-shared by all of the condos.... We have not checked out yet. Place says it sleeps 4, yes, if you open the pull out couch... We think good for 2. Would definitely stay again!!!

If you are looking for upscale accommodations, this is definitely NOT the place to be. However, if you are looking for a clean place with all the necessities, and an incredible view, this place is unbeatable. Yes, the interior needs some updating. Many of the times look worn out and showing their age, but they are still functional. This place could use blackout curtains in their bedrooms, which are located next to the common corridor, and where the bright lights of the parking lot could disturb you. Also, the walls don't provide the best noise insulation and the conversation--and snoring--from other units could filter through. On the plus side, the location of the Nautilus is unbeatable. You'll be within a short car ride from restaurants, fuel, and groceries. Let's not forget the views of the roaring Pacific ocean in the distance. They're best in the morning, in my opinion. If it's not too chilly, open the balcony and enjoy the sound as well.
