My grandkids and I go to Ocean Shores every year either right after school lets out or right before it starts. I have always stayed at 'national chain' hotels feeling that they might be the best value for the dollar. Being extremely disappointed with the chains in Ocean Shores I tried Canterbury Inn. What a wonderful surprise!! EVERYONE and EVERYTHING... more

I have been to the Canturbury since I was 6 years old. In recent years, since 1993, I have tried to come at least once a year. My husband LeRoy & I always stay in a room on the 3rd floor, and we are always very satisfied with the front desk personell, the housekeeping personell, and the entire place. This... more

Everyone knows the beach in the summer is a great place to be. But, it is really wonderful in the dead of winter. We wanted a quick get-a-way from the city and checked on Trip Advisor for a place to stay in Ocean Shores, WA. Found this great place and they had an off season, internet special that we jumped... more

We traveled to Ocean Shores WA for a family reunion. My uncle and I booked 2 seperate rooms. One for his family and one for my husband and I. We had a studio set up with kitchen and full bath. Our room was old fashioned. The decor and the kitchen were in desperate need of updating. The patio was nice... more

We try to find accomodations that allow us to eat at least one meal in....and with this unit's lovely ocean view, we took all of them in! Just like a one bedroom condo, but with maid service and with the ocean spread before us, there couldn't have been a better veiw in town. The unit had comfy beds and tasteful... more

We stayed in a two-bedroom suite that was quite nice, with a decent view of the ocean. Our problem came after we got home from vacation. When checking in we initialed the "$150 charge for smoking in the non-smoking room" notice and the one member of our party who smoked made sure to be well outside and away from the... more

My husband and kids spent the 3-day Memorial day weekend at the Canterbury. We reserved a one-bedroom suite. I checked the price on-line before calling the hotel to make the reservation (sometimes I get a better rate by speaking with real people) and was quoted $170 per night. The price shown on the website was $151 per night, so I... more

This is by far two thumbs way up! Clean, great location, nice and friendly staff. We are moving cross country so we will not be able to return, and will be sad about that. This is THE place to stay in Ocean Shores! more

The first thing we noticed was the cleanliness of the front office and the surrounding area. The front desk people were very cordial and explained everything fully. When we entered our unit, we got a pleasant surprise as to the cleanliness once again. We noticed that the units that we looked at were decorated differently and not the same as... more
