We went up for a weekend of clam digging & stayed in Room #201 on the end. The view was very nice & the resort grounds were wonderful. The room itself had about everything needed for a short trip. Unfortunately, the bed in the first bedrood was awful! Big divot in the center which my husband & I took turns... More

We only stayed as it was a holiday weekend and couldn't find a bed. This would be the only reason you would want to stay at this Hotel. The Hotel is situated on a prime piece of land right on the beach but it is well over due for a make over or a bull dozer and start again. Difficult... More

If they were going to demolish this resort, which won't be far in the future, they wouldn't have to move a single thing out of the room. There is nothing nice enough to salvage! We were so dissappointed in the "used up" condition of the place. It is not as shown on the website - and be sure to take... More

As several other reviewers have mentioned, this is an older resort and the furniture isn't super fancy but I have to say that I have stayed in many fancy resorts and out of all of them this one is my favorite! The rooms are the perfect size and although the furniture is older they have always been clean (even the... More

we have been staying at this resort for over 8 years. i can honestly say that yes the rooms are old but this is a privately owned (not chain) place. i always get whatever i need there and have even been allowed to stay later on check out when needed. alot of guest unfortunatley trash the rooms. maybe the unhappy... This was a great resort, perfect for the entire family. The rooms are dated but the wood fireplace, private balcony, and kitchen were wonderful amenities as well as the private beach access. This resort offers so many outdoor activities including a playground for the kids, tennis court, volleyball court, and more. Well worth the value. It's a short drive to... More

We choose a different place to stay each year that we go to the penninsula. The best thing about this one was its view and proximity to the beach. Sure the rooms are a little dated but this is a seaside resort--weather and time can be rough on a place like this. We stayed in a suite with two bedrooms... More

We choose this place because they accepted dogs and was very close to the beach. Also, the room they show on the website and description was pleasant; however, upon arrival the room was nasty. Old dirty carpet, holes in the linoleum, bedspread smelled, mold in the bathroom and shower curtain. In the kitchen the utensils were dented and cracked, the... More

The grounds outside are very nice, but how misleading to what you find inside. In the rooms, I believe are the same fixtures and linens that they had when they opened years ago! The tub was disgusting and stained with mold, rust all over the mirrow and fixtures. The sliding door and the window in the bathroom was the old... More

We booked a room with a kitchenette & fireplace however when we arrived they conspicuously only had a basic hotel room left, leaving us no choice but to take it (credit card was already charged). The management refused to address the situation without so much as an apology. It's a good thing we didn't bring a bunch of food to... More
