First night was ok. Rooms are much nicer from inside. Wish there was coffee in the room. I'm an early riser and the coffee in the lobby was old. Room was a bit crowded with furniture. Comfortable bed. Flat pillows. Very large tv for the room size. Nice place for the price.

We needed overnight lodging on Whidbey island and decided to try Acorn Motor Inn for the first time as TA reviews were generally positive. I made reservations directly with the inn via phone to avoid the web reservation surcharge. We arrived after 10pm after a full day of traveling from out of state. We unexpectedly were upgraded to a 2... More

Our room was clean and comfortable and very quiet. There was a frig in the room, but we had to go to the lobby to use the microwave there. The wifi isn't the best, but it was okay for what we use. It is very economical and for us it was worth the drive to Anacortes where we caught the... More

After much rummaging around, I managed to find this bargain-priced hotel on Whidbey Island. How cheap? We paid $69 a night. If you know the island, you know that is a low price. It had a quaint, slightly faded old-rose charm but make no mistake this is not a fancy place. The rooms are small but the furniture is vintage... More

My husband and I rented a room for three days in Sept of 2014. The last day, we were horrified to find that my 72 year old diabetic husband`s prescription medications were missing from our room while we were sight seeing.Along with all his meds for heart, high blood pressure and diabetes, the thief also took two bags of 20... The staff were fine but this really was a half nice half cheap hotel. The room decor was very nice. That was the plus. No elevator, no food on the continental breakfast at 9am when it was supposed to run to 11, the water pipes were unbelievably loud in the room from other rooms! A man was complaining about having... We didn't expect to get the honeymoon suite for $99 when we stopped at this motel about a week ago--spacious, comfortable, clean. The general manager himself, Gary Wang, checked us in. Nice fellow, and obviously proud and protective what he is managing. The two-room suite was quiet (away from the highway), had two LCD TVs (we watched our vacation pics... More

From the street, this property seems a little sketchy. It has an older feel about it, but the rooms are actually pretty nice. Ours was large with a nice television, a great bathroom, and good furniture. The included breakfast was extremely underwhelming, and the man at the front desk is definitely moody. Still, the rooms are nice, and the area... More

This is not a property I would have chosen from the outside, as it is on the corner of a busy street and busier street and appears to date from the '50's, but we were just passing through on our way south, looking for a place for the night, and the price was right. I was pleasantly surprised! The windows... More

I knew not to expect much when the hotel cost less than $100, but the breakfast was a toaster and very limited cereal. Nothing fresh! The room was dark and the bed covers looked like they were original - from the 1960's. Give this one a pass!
