My husband and I recently stayed at the Bluff on Whidbey Island and were thrilled with the incredible view, lovely garden, adirondack chairs and relaxing hammock in the yard. We stayed in the smaller of the 2 rooms available, the Lynden Room. It is on the ground floor and has a large picture window looking out to the bluff. We... More

This was a very nice B&B experience. We recently stayed for one night with our child and our hosts were very accommodating. We appreciated having the ability to take our child to a B&B, as many times they are not allowed!! She had her own bed in our spacious comfortable room, very nicely decorated, and quiet. I think my night's... More

This was, by far, the best B&B at which we've stayed. The owners were extremely accommodating without being intrusive, and the hot breakfast each morning (which could be delivered to your room, if you chose) was delicious. Each room had a private entrance with its own parking spot as well as an outdoor seating area (either a covered porch or... More

We recently stayed one night at this lovely bed and breakfast! The view from our room was unbelievable. We arrived after a day exploring Whidbey island including kayaking Bowman bay, eating at The shrimp shack, tide pools at the Bay, Fort Casey and Coupeville.

We stayed for two nights. Larry and Kathy were such fun to talk to and directed our day travels like professionals. I don't think our stay could have been any better. The setting is tranquil. The facility is impeccably kept. Mary and Randy

I enjoyed being away from the madding crowd, the breakfasts were wonderful, the view was great, and the cat Rocky was himself. I figured out how he knew when I had risen each morning as his sleeping chair was right outside my window. Your hosts Larry and Kathy Vanderleest are very hospitable and will point out activities for you if... More

We went to the Bluff on Whidbey last month and enjoyed our stay. The location affords stunning views of the bay. A short distance from town, we were afforded clear views of the night sky and stars, a deep quiet for reflection, and peaceful green roads for long walks. The room was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. DVD's were available.... More

What a peaceful place, away from everything and overlooking the water. Larry was very kind and brought me breakfast in my room. The gardens are beautiful with a hammock overlooking the bluff and rocking chairs in the room! Great place for relaxing. I think it was easier to get to the Anacortes Ferry terminal from here than it would have... More

We booked one night at The Bluff on Whidbey for the end of a week+ of camping and backpacking throughout the area. We arrived tired, grimy, and in need of respite. That is exactly what we found. We booked the smaller room - Linden - on the ground floor. Every tiny detail had been planned out by our hosts. The... More

My boyfriend and I visited The Bluff on Whidbey to run the Whidbey Half marathon. Larry and Kathy were amazing host! The first morning we were there breakfast was clearly made with experience and lots of love, Kathy was happy to meet special needs (I'm vegaterian, and someone else staying that weekend was gluten free). The morning of the race... More

Well, Dave, thank you very much for that extremely nice review.... these reviews are an increasingly important way for travelers to pick and for hosts to acquire future guests, so such a note helps us greatly. Larry More
