We couldn't have enjoyed our stay much more than we did last weekend. This was a perfect place to celebrate our birthdays, get away, relax, go for a hike, enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of this property, engage in enjoyable conversations with the owners and eat amazing breakfasts!!! We will be back soon. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

This place is fantastic. The setting is spectacular, high above the roaring Snoqualmie river. Herschel and Peggy have created a wonderland with trails, swings and benches placed to maximize your enjoyment of the river and peaceful wooded grounds. Our hosts were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was delivered to our door in a picnic basket and was plentiful and delicious. We... More

If visiting east King County, this is the place to stay. Reasonably priced. Beautiful and quiet surroundings and view. Hospitable and friendly owners. Clean and modern rooms in a rustic setting. Close to amenities of North Bend, Issaquah, and Bellevue, and not far from the Seattle area. We enjoyed Herschel's breakfasts immensely. What else can I say. It was the... More

Herschel and Peggy are great folks we met for the first time when we stayed. Heading from Sandpoint, ID, to Tacoma, WA, we were looking for a place to spend a romantic night. This spot filled the bill plus. We stayed in Herbs Place, a separate cabin on the property, but the other rooms we saw were also extremely unique... More

We stayed here for one night, prior to running a marathon in July 2014. This couple - and their staff - are simply amazing! They remembered what I had requested months ago for a very early breakfast, they were very warm and welcoming, and the views were simply exceptional. We would most definitely stay here again should we come back... More

Booked Herbs place for a 2 night stay, to relax and shop at the local premium outlets, just fancied a change from the chain hotels. We were impressed by so much, of course a lovely welcome as so many other reviewers have mentioned, but for us.....it's the view, truly must be seen. Spent a full afternoon just looking and listening... More

Incredible B&B! We just stayed two nights and loved it! The cabin was adorable with a cute kitchen, living area, bedroom and loft. It also had a spacious porch and we utilized the tea house that over looked the spectacular view of the river! The innkeepers were incredible...very kind, knowledgable, and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing and well balanced! I... More

I recently stayed at this B&B by myself while I needed to be in the area for business and personal reasons. The only regret is my husband couldn't join me! This B&B is amazing and absolutely outstanding for those wanting to get away. The views are incredible! I stayed in the Tall Firs room which was quite lovely. There are... More

My husband and I love this place. This time we stayed in the Tall firs room. It is smaller but just as wonderful as the Mountain room and the Bear Iris room.. Herschel and Peggy are so very friendly and attention to detail is wonderful. Each room is decorated so well and you just feel like you are home. The... More

My husband and I love the Roaring River so much that we've gone twice. We literally have no complaints! We stayed in the Mountain Room both times. Peggy and Herschel are the sweetest people and we loved chatting with them. We loved the stunning views of misty hills, towering trees, and of course the river outside our windows. The room... More
