I'd like to be able to tell you what the best thing about the Whispering Firs is but given that there are so many great things about it its tough to decide. Linda and Vic are great hosts. We had a tremendous time just sitting around and talking with them throughout our stay. The food was outstanding! We took advantage... More

A little mother/daughter time well spent and great fun. Once we got up the mountain, the B&B and the Hostess were very inviting. Beautiful grounds with a variety of hiking trails...small ponds with bullfrogs that serenaded us at night. The decks offered great views of the valley. Spot on recommendations for activities and restaurants. LA Conner was especially nice. The... More

Mom and I stayed here for a Seattle get away and it was perfect! Linda is the hostess with the mostest. She served a hearty breakfast that kept us going all day. A dip in the hot tub while watching the sunset was a real treat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Love this place! Beautiful views and sunsets. Linda is the hostess with the mostest. Super comfy beds and a hearty breakfast. Enjoyed a dip in the hot tub while watching the sunset. Relaxed by the fireplace in the lodge with hot tea and homemade cookies. I will definitely return.

My husband and I spent three nights here while visiting friends in Mt. Vernon. I had chosen this property after reading reviews of several places online, and it was pretty much exactly as I expected it to be: that is, a B & B with a very unique twist. First of all, you have to prepare yourself for the drive... More

After travelling across the continent, Canada and the US, we were thrilled to find this wonderfully interesting and secluded spot. Although it was our first visit, Linda treated us like family, providing a delicious breakfast and giving us helpful local information. We would certainly recommend Whispering Firs to anyone travelling in the area or just looking for a unique and... More

Returned to this lovely spot with my daughter, son-in-law and 10 month old grandson. Linda could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast was once again excellent and the view amazing! Highly recommend to others visiting the area.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The view from the master suite is fabulous and the location of the house in the forest up in the hills is wonderful. The owner was extremely nice and treated us very well, even allowing us to use the dining room table for our dinner picnic. Breakfast was delicious.

Our first positive experience came when we arrived and Ingrid greeted us in a friendly fashion by saying something like, "Oh! You are the strawberry pie lady!" Linda told me. She, and then Linda made us feel welcome, like long-time friends and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the special holiday potluck lunch with new friends and fellow guests. After lunch,... Upon arrival we were greeted by Linda who graciously gave of her time to make us feel like long-time friends and very comfortable. Breakfasts were beyond excellent with different and unusual foods being served each day. Gathering with other guests around the large table was always enjoyed. Last, but certainly not least, was the fabulous view of the valley, sunsets... More
