The Mazama Ranch House met all our expectations and more. We arrived in the middle of a heat wave (>38 C / 100 F), but found relief in the Mazama Ranch House with its beautiful garden, porches and hammocks. The little community of Mazama (including the Mazama Store and adjacent outdoor bar, and the Mazama Country Inn) was a joy... More

Stayed here and they offer a small fridge, coffee maker & microwave & small sink. Roomy cabin with front & back porches. The bed wasn't as sodt as I like it but having the Mazama Country Store & Goat's Beard Sports shop within a 2 min walk plus the Mazama Country Inn also next door (restaurant), the location wins. Especially... More

We drove 3 cars to Mazama just before Thanksgiving and got caught in a big freak snowstorm. We couldn't even find the house we'd rented and our cars got stuck several times. The owner, Steve, happened upon us and helped get our cars in a safe spot then rented us 3 comfy rooms in this lodge. The next morning he... More

This retired cattle ranch is in a quiet valley off the beaten track but easily accessible. It is run in a casual way but the facilities are well cared for, clean and neat! The grounds are big and there are really expansive horse facilities that lead to an endless trail system (shared with bikes and designed for x country skiers).... More

Very clean. Lovely to look out on pasture and horses and mountains, rather than a parking lot! Kitchen, too. We really enjoyed our three nights here. I had a good email exchange with the owner, before we arrived, as she helped me arrange my stay- where to rent a bike, etc. I would definitely have given 5 stars if someone... More

Stayed overnight, would of loved to stay longer. Quiet place nestled in the woods with hummbingbirds, river and a great dinner. Didn't stay for breakfast, went to Twisp for the bakery we hearrd about. That was good too. Room was smalll but okay for our stay. The hot tub was closed due to too hot of water, that was disappointing... More

We like to visit here once a year. The room is comfortable with a kitchenette. There are barbecues and a fire circle. Lots of hikes, walks and biking. Bring your own dishes if you are going to do much eating in. The ranch is very quiet and the people are friendly.

Thanks to Steve for his hospitality and understanding - we got everything that we ask for and spend 4 wonderful days in Mazama and surrounding with our family We stay in the house that was very convenient but only 2 bathrooms for 10 people was not enough - Steve solve this to our satisfaction . Thanks again Goldberg with his... More

Staying in Mazama gives you access to miles of peaceful, beautiful trails without needing a car to get to them. Our room was simple but comfortable and the kitchenette (microwave, coffee pot, toaster, fridge, burner) allowed us to make simple meals. As mentioned, other than coffee mugs, only disposable plates are provided. We brough along some bowls to use in... More

The setting is wonderful, the rooms are relaxingly simple and comfortable, the outdoor activity possibilities from this location are outstanding . . . but the real reason to stay at the Mazama Ranch House is the wonderfully easy, friendly and nice owner, Steve. It's true - you may talk with him much more than you'll see him, but that's just... More
