I've been going to the Freestone Inn since 2001 when I did a big wedding there. (I'm a wedding planner). I've been taking my family for the past 5 years every summer. We had a horrible experience there last winter, but I understand they are under new managment, so we decided to give them another chance. We are sure glad... more

We stayed here memorial day weekend, found a good price through expedia. When we arrived was pleasantly greeted by front desk clerk, rooms were amazing ! Didn't eat at the restaurant, although I heard it had great food. The only downfall was the hot tub was not in service and when we all went to the pool at 6pm we... more

We spent 2 nights at the Inn and absolutely loved it. The surrounding scenery and the property itself is gorgeous. Our room was very nicely appointed, and it was quite pleasant to sit on the deck in the sunshine overlooking the small lake. Was very impressed with the hotel and restaurant (I understand under new management...). Just had a wonderful stay at the Freestone, which is located in a absolutely gorgeous mountain setting (lake, hiking and skiing in winter). The lodge/dining room is cozy with a giant fireplace and view of a serene lake. Staff is professional/welcoming and the dining simply amazing! Thoroughly... more
