I was looking forward to camping here as Maryhill is one of my favorite areas. It has a great location with view of the Columbia River, but sadly showing that Washington state isn't supporting it's parks well, and was overpriced for the condition of the park. Oregon State parks seem to be in much better shape. I'm not sure if... More

Stopped here on a 100+ degree day, enough shade to keep cool on the grass, there were 2 roped off swim areas. We watched kite boarding up close, got some nice waves for our air mattress from the wave runners. Bathrooms, changing stalls, there were also covered areas with parties going on.

Situated on the banks of the mighty Columbia across from Biggs, OR, Maryhill State Park is a flat, treed site. The views of the Columbia River Gorge are spectacular. When we visited ( in 38 degree temperature) the irrigation pumps were broken so the grass was brown. The central grassy common area offers a place for games. The washrooms were... More

7-11 May 2015. Awesome state park with great amenities and access to lots of places to hike and visit. Quite pricy, as we've found out so far in the NW. We had our pick of sites since the WA reservation system doesn't go into effect until 15 May. We were lucky enough to find a spot right on the river.... More

This park has day use areas for boaters and sail boarders which I didn't use. We RV camped there. Not as nice as the Oregon state parks I have camped at but charges full price. Showers Are coin operated and the ones near us were out of order. Only cold water in the bathroom sinks. We did not have a... More

Was not able to stay here because the website restricted sites to reserve and when we arrived around 1pm on a Sunday there were no sites available. I have stayed here in past and never had a problem with getting a site.

Excellent camp sites with sufficient space between neighbors. Takes some getting used to the noise of trains and trucks using compression brakes. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. We like the proximity to fruit orchards and the Columbia River. We have stayed here twice and plan another visit in the next month.

This is a very nice campground. Well kept, clean. Spacer are large and far enough apart that if people are talking in normal tones you don't hear your neighbor. The beach access is good and there are two boat ramps. The location is convenient. The park is situated with railroad tracks on the north side as well as on the... More

The noise doesn't bother me plus we have ear plugs. Our group camps here to visit the wineries. And at least one meal at the Glass Onion in Goldendale...highlight of the trip. Next week will be our third time their. It's not the forest. Every park is different for its location it's a pretty good park.

I was supposed to go to Alta Lake State Park but since the wildfires closed that park I would up at Maryhill. Your liking or disliking Maryhill will depends on what you like when camping. For me it's about getting away from everyday distractions and enjoying a quiet time with some outdoor activities. This park really doesn't offer any of... More
