We stayed here with a travel trailer this month (June 2014). Very nice park - camping is set up in a circle with back-in spots in the inside of the circle and pull through spots on the outside. I believe it was about $35 to camp with full hookups. Lots and lots of beautiful trees and it's right on the... More

Beautiful park on Columbia river but a bit too pricey. Dry camped at a c.o.e. Park (le page , Oregon) which was great dry camping spot. Right on the john day river for fishing , hiking trails nearby. Drive along the Columbia (westbound) to view waterfalls , bridge of the gods , and crown vista viewpoint.

We thought we had found a bit of heaven when we rolled into the campground to find a spot that was open. In actuality it very well could be, but there are some things people need to know. A lot has been said about the noisy trains and highway, wind surfers and fishermen. Well, we experienced little or none of... More

Right off the main road this was a great green, spacious campground. Yes you can hear the trains but I didn't think they were overwhelming at all. The bathroom's weren't the greatest and be aware you'll need quarters for the showers - like most parks in Washington. Great area to hike and enjoy water sports. The Dam nearby is a... More

Our group had a delightful stay at this tidy campground along the river. we enjoyed the fruit stand within walking distance and several points of interest such as Maryhill Museum, Stonehenge and wineries nearby. The huge firepit to gather round and large shelter at the group site were very nice. The park ranger came by on his bike to share... More

Forget it with a tent, you'll be up with the train and road noise all night. In a trailer (we have a hybrid), it's okay with ear plugs. But it's a sunny retreat from the western OR/WA rain & clouds. Nice park otherwise, great bicycling on the road just to the east, up to Stonehenge replica, and then up to... More

This park is absolutely beautiful, but there's no way around the trains, trucks, freeway noise and fischerman getting up at 4am and being noisy. It's not like some places where the gentle wail of a train whistle in the distance is peaceful. No, these train tracks are just at the back half of the park and they go by at... More

On the plus side, it is beautiful and the park host is delightful. On the down side, the trains and truck's jake brakes from the steep grade near the campground are so loud thoughout the night that you will get next to no sleep. Plus, the park ranger is rude and obnoxious and enforces the rules unevenly. There is apparently... More

We stayed two weekends ago while traveling around the Oregon, Washington area. The park is absolutely beautiful with manicured laws, clean bathrooms and a beautiful view of the Columbia river. We noticed that the park admin. had grouped all tent users in the same little area, which was to us, uncomfortable. When we asked to be moved to a different... More

Located right on the banks of the Columbia River, with acres of lush green lawns, this campground is an oasis in the desert! There are two sections to this park, and the RV section has full hookups, with paved roads and sites. Many of the sites have a river view and are spaced well apart. The restrooms and showers are...
