This is a beautiful old home in a harbor. Lovely furnishings and an excellent bed. Quiet. The innkeepers are exceptional. Robin is an excellent chef with a focus on healthful and delicious fresh food. Mike shuttled our car for our kayak tour. We had a memorable BBQ on the waterfront. Wonderful memories!! More

We had a perfect, serene mother/daughter vacation here a few years ago. The peace and exquisite beauty of Lopez island seeped into every pore. Mike and Robin were incredibly helpful and interesting innkeepers, the inn itself is clean and lovely and the breakfasts were delicious. We spent mornings bicycling through lush farmland and woods with gorgeous ocean views and saw... More

An older facility with some character. Right on the water and kayaking available ($$). Bikes provided free. Very clean and comforatble. Breakfasts not elaborate compares to many B&Bs but it isn't advertised as having over the top breakfasts either. A bit pricey but I have no comparisons on the island to know if it;s in line but it was a... More

We had just a great time with Mike and Robin, our host, at this quiet inn at the south end of Lopez Island, WA. Besides the great rooms and wonderful breakfast, there were so many ways to "relax". One night I sat on our little balcony and watched the bald eagles hunt and fish in the bay. There were also... More

We spent two nights here in early August and had a marvelous time! The Inn is comfortable and quiet and the Innkeepers, Mike and Robin, as well as the other guests were friendly but unobtrusive. Breakfast was wonderful both mornings. It's a great base for cycling as this end of the Island has very little traffic. Mike offered a great... More

MacKaye's Harbor Inn sits on an unspoiled, protected bay at the south end of Lopez Island. The owners, Robin and Mike, have created a quiet and tastefully furnished retreat. Exceptionally helpful but non-intrusive, Mike oriented us to the safe use of his kayaks (for rent at $35 per person with unlimited use) and hybrid bikes (free and fine for short,... More

This is a perfect location to escape from the busy life in the city....quiet, but with enough activities available to fit any desire. Robin and Mike are delightful hosts -- and that makes all guests feel welcome. From this base you can walk, ride, paddle, drive or just 'veg' for a weekend of relaxation. The beds are comfortable -- the... More

Reserve the upstairs view room -- private balcony. If you are biking, this may be too far from town to go to dinner. The local restaurant, Love Dog Cafe, was very good. More
