We stayed in May when it was a little cold out to camp or sleep on the boat. The room was clean, comfortable, friendly, and unassuming--which pretty much sums up life on Lopez, too. In the early season, we found many restaurants were still on winter hours or closed most of the week, so it was nice that the resort... More

I loved everything about this place, from the bunnies and deer just off the deck, to the super fun band playing in the lounge. I loved Lopez Island for the tranquility, hiking, and beaches. The Islander was located such that the whole island was easy to get to and was also just fun to hang around the resort. Good pool,... More

Lopez Islander Resort has everything you want. We boated to the resort, and were able to keep our boat at their marina (make separate slip reservations). The resort isn't a fancy place, though it's beautifully run, charming, and is in "Spot A" on Lopez Island. The dining room, Tiki bar and gigantic deck overlook the marina and the whole harbor;... We pulled in on August 16th. We are just tent campers, and the price is great!! $25 a night! The grassy area is a free-for-all camping situation, which was no big deal for us, but boy the resort could make some good money with a FEW improvements!! The place was pretty full Sat night, as to be expected. No reservations... More

We've been to the marina several times because it is a close weekend destination. Love Lopez Island, and it's funky Saturday market. But the people who run the Islander and marina are completely clueless. As with what others have said they will always tell us they do not have our reservations. Anymore its just plain fun to show up, tie... More

We have made reservations several times at the marina, and it's always the same thing when you arrive, "We don't have any reservations  for you sorry" luckily we have alway found a slip. And if you go up for dinner be prepared to wait 10-20 minutes just to be greeted, and an additional 5 to 10   to order, the younger... More

Good location on the Island, central to everything. The room was very spacious and clean. Very bare essentials, one knife and a can opener, coffee maker and coffee supplies. It was perfectly acceptable for what we needed, which was a place to sleep. We didn't swim or cook there. The pool looked very nice, the grounds were well tended and... More

Place is in bad need of cleaning and maintenance. Pool was cold, hot tub had soap in it and a sign that said filter parts on order, probably the sign had been up for a long time. Showers and whole area could use a lot of cleaning, maintenance and attention. We just made a last minute decision to jump in... More

We visited the weekend of July 18th, 2014 on our boat, staying in the marina. The most of the docks are in terrible shape and there appeared to be no staff other than the gentleman working in the store at the end of the dock, which opened about 30 minutes late every morning we were there. The restaurant is old... More
