On arrival, our shower had a used bar of soap laying in it with someone else's hair embedded in it. The shampoos in the shower were half empty too. This was my first stay on Lopez Island and I was excited to stay at the Islander. When I arrived and checked into my room I walked into the bathroom and was appalled to see that the floors in the bathroom were filthy. It looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a couple of weeks. August 14, 2007: Four of us by boat for Lunch at the resort. A friendly young man at the dock showed us where to park (free) while dining. Best ever prime rib sandwich. Good service and attention. We will retrun again and bring friends. more
