My Husband planned this romantic getaway for our 12th. wedding anniversary, and when we showed up, we didn't have reservations! My husband apparently didn't comfirm our room. The owner and Desk clerk where so wonderful and let us stay in their little room ( The Snug ) for one night while we waited for the Hot tub room The Alantis... more

Thank you for your kind words. We were, as always, glad to help. It is most unforunate that you ended up paying more for the hotel where you did book but did not stay than you did here where you had such fun in our hot tub suite... hopefully the mix-up is the happy accidental start to many more happy...

I stayed at the Discovery Coast Cottage Inn with my 3 children in April of this year. I was SO impressed. Even the small touches like having movies available that range for adults to young children, games for the family to play out on the enclosed windowed patio and all the amenities you could ask for were taken care of.... more

We arrived in the afternoon after a 10 hour fishing trip. We were greeted and shown to our room quickly. The room was so great for the price. I couldn't believe we got such a great deal. The fridge was big enough to store all the fish we caught! The bed was amazingly comfy which was very much appreciated after... more

Our October 2008 stay is actually our most recent stay at this Inn. We have been coming here for vacations every chance we get for at least the past couple of years. The updates to the rooms and the surrounding property, as well as the services provided, in such a short period of time is remarkable! It is obvious that... more

We arrived at this charming locale on New Year's Day and spent a very relaxed and enjoyable week exploring the coast and Astoria. The Discovery Coast Inn was comfortable and clean, and the staff was very responsive and friendly, even helping us find some of the hidden treasures of the region. We were reluctant to leave after our week long... more

We stayed two nights in the Crow's Nest (one bedroom with kitchen) located above the office. The owners were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was child friendly and comfortable. The location was one block off the main strip and two blocks from the beach / main arch in Long Beach. When we called to... more

It really is lovely to read these reviews. Please be assured that we listen... The layout has been altered to include a round table with two comfy chairs along with the counter & bar stool set-up, and the love seat and coffee table remain cozily together. It's much better, you're right: Thank-you for the great feedback! (Coming next: a gas...

Discovery Coast Cottage Inn has to be the best place to stay in Long Beach. It's close to town & beach just a short walk away. The owners are a fantasic, friendly couple that really care & want to make your stay perfect. The rooms are clean & nicely decorated in a beach theme. The best touch, each room comes... more

Great location for walking on the boardwalk and to the town. Proprietors very friendly and helpful. Good value! It means a lot when the owners truly care about their property and their guests. They even found us a box to put our crab shells and sand dollars so they'd be protected on the drive home.:) Thx Discovery Coast Inn more
