I was a little unsure of staying at a Rodeway property because of there general standards but I had business in town and didn't want to stay at one of the NON chain motels in town. When I called to make my Reservation and ask questions about the hotel Daniel was very helpful and VERY welcoming. Being there on business... More

Greeting was gracious and she provided us a room to the back towards the beach. Much quieter on this side away from the main street. Walking distance to all you need and the little movie house was good. Room was ok and bed comfortable. Slept in so don't know was the breakfast was like.

From the outside with its rather garish paint and obvious age, this property does not inspire confidence. However, I was warmly greeted and checked in and the room while a bit dated was large and comfy. I noticed that both screens on my windows had been bent as if some had tried to enter the room--I certainly kept that in... More

This place is fine-it's a motel in a good location. The beach is right behind it and it's in the center of town. Just don't expect anything over the top and you pay for the location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free wifi and signal is pretty good.

Read all the reviews written before we went and was a little concerned, but booked anyway because of consistent comments about cleanliness and friendly, helpful staff. We were not disappointed in any respect except the possible height of the shower head. It's not the Ritz, but come on people, this is Long Beach. Everything was clean, everything was in working... This place is a dump. There are signs everywhere not to leave valuables in the room or your car. It is really noisy. You can hear every step from the guests upstairs. Don't stay here. Even the office is dirty.

We were there during clam digging season, we did not realize this until we were woke up at 5:30 M. am. Apparently it was clam digging season and we did not know it. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff was very nice. The bathroom could use a little updating but served the purpose. The cooking area was... More

Spur of the moment spring break trip this week. Made my reservation last week and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and seer ice of the employees. I reserved a king sized room and let them know we were traveling with our medium size German Shepherd. We ended up with a second floor room on the west/back... More

Very nice and large rooms. Service was excellent and very helpful. Great location, place is within walking distant of downtown Long Beach, and the Ocean/Beach. Good continental breakfast and coffee. Highly recommend this Hotel if you need a place to stay while at the beach.
