These are individual 1 room bungalows. Everything is in a one room setup one room one bed one kitchen on bathroom. Location is 1/4mile to the main street of town and 1/2 mile from the surf and boardwalk. Very comfortable with everything you need for a good stay. Again all is very clean.

Great affordable place to stay at Long -Beach. Easy walk to the beach and town - friendly owner. Stocked with yummy coffee beans. Nice kitchenette well stocked. We had a great time with our toddler. Would definitely go back!

Once again our stay at the Bungalows was perfect. As a child my parents owned a home close by and I spent many summers in Long Beach/Seaview. As Grandparents, we now get to have our grand kids enjoy the beauty and fresh smells of the ocean, learn about the historical areas nearby, and the most important: PLAY on the Beach.... More

2 thumbs up!! Charming, clean, and totally inviting. It was fun playing tourist in my home town while attending my 40th class reunion. The Manager Kathy was an added plus and quite a character...always showing interest in the "when I was young" stories!! She provided superb, upbeat and non-invasive management. I would recommend the bungalows to everyone for any occasion..already... More

We stay in the bungalows every year for the past 4 years. It's perfect for our family of 6. Has a full kitchen in #5 which is great for feeding our crew. Within walking distance of the town and beach. The only downside is there is no ocean view, but you can hear it, which we love at night!! The... More

We stayed in bungalow 1 and our friends in 6. we both loved our respective places. It was charming, clean, the perfect location (right by the beach and town). They really had everything you might want. I'll stay here any time I'm in Long Beach!

Located off the main road, next to one of the drive-on beach accesses, this was the perfect choice for us. The cottages are small (the shower especially, but good water pressure!) but have all we needed as far as the comforts of home! Kathy, the manager was always so sweet making sure to ask everyday (as we saw her outside)... More

We stayed in #7 for our anniversary and it was pretty great! Very comfortable king sized bed, towels galore, and the room was meticulously clean--with no sign of any pets having been there. Perfect size for a couple. It was sweet to have privacy and not be at a hotel. Also: super convenient location! The only downside to this room... More

My husband and I stayed in Bungalow #3, on 4/6-4/9/2014. We had never stayed in Long Beach before and decided it would be a nice little getaway. After some research and knowing that I don't like to stay in big, generic hotels, I found the Akari Bungalows. I decided to book #3 as it is pet free and both of... More
