we booked a room on the upper level with ocean view. Weekend rate was $77/night. When we opened the door to the room, it was disappointing. The room looked like a cheap motel. Very very basic with no charm. We opened the window for some air and there was no screen. We did leave the window cracked and I was... more
The Edgewater itself is nothing special. The rooms are only okay, but we experienced no problems. But the location of this place is what it is all about. This place has rooms with ocean views, has its own boardwalk (nice) to the beach, and fun things for the family to do all around it. Up the road you can ride... more
Stayed friday night, we were awoken around 5am to people slamming doors and childern screaming, also the wind was blowing and the gutter outside our window was loose and making a loud banging noise. Also this was a no smoking room and we could smell someone smoking a cigar, the noise from the bar was loud. We left our room... more
We arrived in town around dark and looked for a hotel for the night. Edgewater offered a 1 bedroom suite with an ocean view, so we took it. We would have been much better off driving through town and checking out some other hotels. This place was DIRTY! more
The Edgewater Inn Motel is an example of you get what you pay for. End of Dec 2006 we payed $77 for the "suite" room. They had not fixed the siding from the big wind storm and a piece banged against our room the first night until it finally fell off. We also walked into the room at 4:30 with... more
Booked ground floor "Suite" and was told Hotel was ocean front. Hotel was close to beach but certainly not ocean front as other Hotels were located in front of this Hotel. Rooms were barely average, with odd layout. Room charge was about twice what it should be. Will not return as price was outrageous for the location and quality of... more
We drove 3 hours to what we thought was going to be a wonderful Labor Day Weekend. Only to find a hotel room that was so hot and a toliet that wouldn't flush and was backed up. The room does not have any screens, for being located on 2nd floor, one would think there would be a state if not... more
Great location....decent rates....great ocean view....great little town...friendly and helpful staff. These are the pluses of staying at the Edgewater Inn in little Long Beach, WA. On the downside was the fact that the rooms are very small and there is no air conditioning. Now I have to admit, A/C is not mandatory. In fact, for about 300 plus days a... more
We stayed at the Edgewater on the last leg of a five day trip up the coast of Oregon and into Washington. It is a three story hotel consisting of two buildings with a restaurant at the top of the one closest to the beach, looking out to the ocean, and is located near the end of a long boardwalk... more
