I have stayed several times here. Can't think of one bad experience. The manager Kristina, gets all thumbs up, great job, great all around, the cleaning staff, what great people always smile, always helpful if need anything. Rooms are great, clean, beds are very compfortable. Prices well within reason. Also great morning breakfast pancakes, coffee, cereal, muffins. Great location in... More

Good things: Friendly staff, cleaner than average for an older building, small fridge and microwave in every room, slow (but reliable) wi-fi in room, and decent TV channel selection. Beach is 7-8 min walk, and downtown location is a plus for shopping convenience. Not-So-Good: No a/c -- only way to cool the room is leave the windows open AND prop... More

Every employee we encountered was exceedingly friendly and awesome, and they were amazing to our furry family members. I would come here every summer if I did not live across the country. In our trip across the country, staying here was the best overnight experience we had. I checked out and we walked the couple blocks to the ocean. I... More

We stayed here 2 nights. There was no air conditioning. The box springs had, what looked like poop smeared on the side. The bar in the shower was missing. The elevator was very noisy and had dirty carpet. Also the clerk at the front desk was a chain smoker and was constantly out side smoking. Leaving the hotel unattended. Than... More

The room was spacious. The hair dryer was missing, the plate covering the built-in tissue container was corroded. Parking space was available. There are not high expectations for this tier of hotel but even so, there did not seem to be an effort to provide for the basics. There is not any air conditioning.

This place is really run down. They said the owner was trying to sell it so didn't want to put money into anything that breaks. The first two rooms they tried to give us smelled disgusting. It was like walking into a wall of fumes when the door opened. The third room was bearable (smell wise) with the window open.... More

This was the first night of a 2 week road trip down the 101 Hwy via OR coast and Redwood Hwy to Lake Tahoe and Sacramento CA. This hotel was by far the poorest selection we made on the trip. We were tired and quite warm from the drive on a hot day. We arrived and were given the keys... More

We chose the Super 8 based on a recommendation from a local. She said the rooms were clean and good-sized. Well, that was true but it was also the hottest room I have ever stayed in - must have been 90 and the wall unit would only blow more hot air. They don't have air conditioning. We asked the front... This motel is clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I've stayed here a few times on business. It's super close to all the restaurants and shops of Long Beach and right next door to Marsh's museum and store. The beds are okay, and everything is in good working order.

Clean, quiet room, as well as friendly staff. Excellent breakfast in the conference room, clean and orderly with staff checking the supplies and room periodically. Good location in town, with easy walking distance to attractions and services. The dog friendly atmosphere was evident, with several dogs present with no concerns.
