Four stars because it could use a little maintenance. However, awesome stay here. Watched the lightening and waves crashing on the beach from our room, kids went swimming. Weather cleared up and had a great time in the dune and on the beach, right in front of the lodge. Locally owned and operated, so much nicer than a big chain.... More

Went for New Year and Valentine's Holiday. 1st floor is excellent for kids and pets. Huge, complete with amenities. 3rd floor has the 180 degrees breath taking ocean view...Swimming pool, spa and jetted tub were good enough for the money. Near to restaurants, kids entertainment, good- private location for a hike towards the beach and around the town as well... More

I really wanted to like this place, honestly I did. Even after reading the horrific reviews my husband and I decided to purchase a Groupon deal and hoped that the renovations were complete and that it would be acceptable. How quickly our hopes were dashed! First off, when we got to our room we found that the fireplace was broken... More

The Staff was very nice. How ever...... The Pool was Cold, Hot tub was hot but needed cleaned. The beds are old and hard with old comforters. The Decks were in need of repair. lots of growth on the wood. Fireplaces were rusty and not working. We had to turn up the heater to 90 to get it warm. The... More

What was once a grand property with a wonderful ocean view and food and beverage on site is now one of the most run down, dingy, old, rotting properties on the coast! Dry rot in the bathroom, mattresses that look to be from the 50's, dated, stained...... I called three times to talk about their New Years Eve festivities, the... More

This place was such a let down! We were told we were getting a king spa suite for our groupon so we were pretty excited since it was going to also be my birthday weekend. The moment you walk into the building you smell that this isn't going to be so wonderful after all. Then when you open the hotel... More

Restraunt was closed entire time, Pool was too cold to use. Hot tub was at 104 degrees and would not go down was WAY too HOT to use and pieces were floating on... More

Because I it's my little secret and I cherish it, so I thought not to write one to keep it that way. But my better sense prevailed and I want this place to live on, so here you go. KNOW BEFORE HAND: this place is low-rent. Go with that in mind and take it for what it is and you'll... More

We stayed there back in the 80's and we think they have the same beds. They were horrible. The noise in between the rooms was deafening and the sliding door barely opened. It is time for a revamp for this motel!

Not a great hotel. Fairly shabby, bathroom fan didn't work, ice machine on our floor didn't work, bedside lamp didn't work, noisy sex in the next room. The capper? The dog and I got stuck in the elevator at 2 a.m. when I took him out to pee. And since the office closes at 9 p.m., no one answered the... More
