We tent camped here for 1 night on Aug. 22/14. We were originally charged almost $67.00 for 2 of us in a backpacking tent as "there are no small tent sites available". When we expressed our shock at the price, a small site magically appeared and $44.00 was now the cost! The site was adequate though we had to request... More

Have been coming to the Leavenworth KOA for 15 years and sadly it's gone down hill! Its expensive and does not offer some of the 'fun stuff' they used to do like the hay ride and they reduced pool hours. Some of the the staff like 'Broomhilda' on a cart almost ran me down and didn't even wince never mind... More

We arrived on August 13 to spend a night so that we could visit beautiful Leavenworth. The park LOOKED lovely but we were shocked at being charged $77.00 per night to park our 22' fifth wheel. We were assigned a space and given a list of rules. Most are common sense. However, one rule was that we HAD to follow... More

We had a wonderful stay during the first full week in August in our tent trailer - out in the meadow. We were cramped and crowded for only the first two nights and then everyone else cleared out and we had few neighbors. The smell that others talked about was only rarely present on one or two days, around dinner... More

We've been coming here for 30+ years. At $75 a night for an RV site, plus charge for extra people, it's getting to be really expensive for a campground. Office/Store hours have been reduced, the pool closes at 7 PM, they used to have free firewood, and have ditched the Saturday night hayride. All the long term, experienced staff is... More

We recently stayed in a "deluxe" cabin for 3 nights in July, 2014. We were charged over $200.00/night having to bring our own bedding, towels, & dish cloths. Rather excessive for the price, don't you think? However all of this we new ahead of time, but the "deluxe" cabin failed to provide a towel rack or even a hook inside... More

I have stayed in other KOAs and been very pleased. At the Leavenworth koa, I paid about $85 per night for an RV site and my site was so small I had to drop my trailer and park my pickup angled in to my site. The next size up was nearly $100 per night. When I booked the site I... More

Here's the deal... I would have been a little nicer in this review, until I did my homework. The bathroom facilities are disgusting and have apparently been this way for for weeks. Stalls and sinks broken and clearly in no hurry to fix the issues. Try competing for one of two showers with hundreds of other campers. The raw sewage... More

My husband and I stayed at the Leavenworth, WA KOA for one night on a recent trip to Washington. We were in a cabin in order to take a brief break from our tent camping and to get a chance to see Leavenworth. The location of the KOA is very convenient for seeing the town, but the KOA itself was... More

Although I am only giving KOA an 'average' rating, there were things that made this far better, and also far worse than 'average'. The staff were friendly, always available, and there was NEVER a shortage of things to do. We arrived on Thursday July 3 and stayed through Sunday July 6. We paid for one of the few ultra-premium sites... More
