Very nice accommodations for a anniversary weekend stay. The office person was very personable and wanted to make sure we were well cared for. Made some dining recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our room. The location is an easy walk to visit the shops and dining in town. Nice and quiet spot. Looking forward to returning soon.

We got a chance to get away from our busy lives in the Northwest and spend a night at the Boatyard Inn in Langley,WA. The inn is located at the water's edge as you enter the quaint town of Langley. The hotel is well-appointed with wonderful views of the Cascade Mountains. Charming decor with very helpful staff and the unit... More

Thank you so much for choosing the Boatyard Inn for your brief winter respite. Winter is a magical time to be on Whidbey Island, with short ferry lines, an abundance of wildlife along the shoreline, and often spectacular sunrises over the Cascade Mountains. After arriving at the inn, many of our guests never leave their room, choosing instead to eat... More

The Boatyard Inn is a Northwest influenced Inn that has all the charm and warmth of home. I spent my childhood summers just north of the Inn at my grandparents property on the Sound. The town of Langley has stood still in time and remains a quaint and lovely getaway. My daughter, granddaughter and I spend a weekend in early... More

It is repeat guests like yourselves who have established the Boatyard Inn as one of the premier choices for visitors to Whidbey Island who are seeking a waterfront refuge. Winter offers a serene and exquisite setting in which to experience the unique marine environment of Saratoga Passage…literally a step away from each cantilevered private deck of our thirteen suites. Two more stays at our favorite inn! Lucky enough to get a room for the two storms that recently visited Whidbey Island. First night in the new and gorgeous Marina Suite. Great storm watching, fireplace and beautiful bathroom with a free standing tub with a view of the marina. For the second storm, we stayed in the Driftwood Suite which... More

It's always a treat for us when local Whidbey Islanders choose the Boatyard Inn for their island getaway. We are delighted to hear you storm-watched from the comfort of your suite. And I agree, there’s nothing better than dining in on pizza from Village Pizzeria just up the hill. We hope to welcome you back again soon. Cathy Puma, co-owner More

Returned to the Boatyard before heading into Seattle for Thanksgiving. There is nothing to bad that we have found about the Inn. It has wonderful views across the sound and is also incredibly peaceful. Our room was well furnished and spotlessly clean. The kitchenette has a few snacks to keep you going. There are a multitude of restaurants & shops... More

Thank you for your return visit to the Boatyard Inn. As you noted, there is a serenity here on the beach this time of year, when summer tourists have departed and about the only sounds are of the wind, waves, and shoreline birds. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Cathy Puma, co-owner More

We stumbled on this while researching places to stay on Whidbey Island. We knew nothing of Langley and its quaint charms but had a lovely three night stay in the Boatyard. We were in unit 1. It's ground floor, studio style, with the bed on a raised platform. It was very clean and cozy. I wish the grout in my... More

We are pleased you discovered our inn during your recent trip to Langley. I should point out that there is another, quiet, source of heat in all of our rooms enabling guests to turn off the older thermostats if desired. We regret the noise from the marina. The tugs are now gone, and the waterfront is again peaceful and quiet.... More
