Stayed in an upstairs waterfront suite for 12 nights with our two sons (15 and 21) and not one of us wanted to leave!! Could happily have stayed for much longer. An absolutely beautiful family vacation spot (but also perfect for a honeymoon or romantic weekend). Spectacular waterfront on Saratoga Passage. Peaceful and relaxing. Woke each morning to incredible sunrises... More

My husband and I were looking for a place to get away from the city for the weekend and just looking for some peace and quiet to celebrate our anniversary. We rented out the Marina Suite at the Boatyard Inn and it was just PERFECT! The suite was very clean, spacious with a peaceful view of the ocean/marina, and the... More

We are delighted that you chose the Boatyard Inn for your recent anniversary celebration and especially appreciate your compliments of Mynda and the Boatyard Inn staff. As you discovered, the inn is a perfect Pacific Northwest "staycation" venue. In just 40 minutes, you can drive from downtown Seattle or Bellevue to the Mukilteo ferry which departs for Whidbey Island every... More

This is a place I have visited a few times and I find it to be just lovely. Each room is different from the next and many have a little loft bedroom. I found it to be very romantic! It is at a small marina very close to downtown Langley, which is a popular tourist destination and a fun town... More

As you mentioned, we offer a variety of room designs -- from spacious one-bedroom studios, two-bedroom lofts, and a two-story townhouse with a full kitchen. Guests can get a pretty good idea of the differences by checking out our website and talking with our... More

We have stayed here several times and it has always been great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This last time we stayed on the Marina room and it was very beautiful yet not functional. They have spent some money on fancy looking things that challenge the use of the room. The bath tub is more like a box... More

Your constructive comments about your recent stay at the Boatyard Inn and specifically, the new Marina Suite, are very much appreciated. The unit was designed by our late partner Paul Schell (owner, with wife Pam, of the Inn at Langley) to provide something new and different from our current offerings, including a luxurious waterview bathroom with soaking tub. We deeply... More

The sisters and I needes a place to take our mom with two bedrooms and two baths right on the water, and bonus, awesome deck, kitchen, fireplace and quiet. Quick drive and a ferry ride from seattle and the management was so kind and accommodating. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Beautiful waterfront stay. Watching the tide and watercreatures and moon rise... More

Thank you for taking the time to write such a complimentary review of the Boatyard Inn. We are so pleased you and the sisters chose our inn for your special retreat with your mom. I have wonderful memories of bringing my 95-year-old mom to the Boatyard Inn. She stayed in Suite 7, our handicapped-accessible unit that has a huge waterfront... More

My husband and I have been visiting the Boatyard Inn once or twice a year for over 15 years. Each visit, whether for a celebration or for a much needed break from everyday life, has been peaceful and restorative. The inn is always beautifully maintained, and the tasteful northwest esthetic is casual, elegant and comforting. Mynda and the staff at... More

First, thank you so much for being frequent guests of the Boatyard Inn. We greatly appreciate your loyalty, especially knowing there are alternatives to traditional hotels and inns these days...which we are NOT! As you noted, our 600 - 900 square foot rooms include living, dining and kitchen areas and waterfront decks. Right now is the perfect season to hang... More

In just over an hour from Seattle we reached this fabulous, tucked away gem on the Langley waterfront. Visiting mid-week in January there were hardly any other guests here and we were lucky enough to be placed in unit #1; bottom floor with a nice deck right over the water commanding a fabulous view of the Cascade Mountains. The bed... More

You summed up the sentiments expressed by so many of our guests: The Boatyard Inn is literally just steps away from downtown Langley but feels a world away. As you noted, we are just a block down the hill from Main Street, tucked along the waterfront next to the town marina and public beach. Our waterfront location is what draws... More

Once again, my wife and I spent three days and two nights at Langley's Boartyard Inn. Mynda and her staff are wonderfully accommodating and so genuinely gracious! The comfortable suites are spotlessly clean, always fresh, and extremely well quipped. The water's edge location is delightful. From our ground floor deck, we enjoyed watching some seals, a variety of sea birds... More

We live in Seattle and love coming to this peaceful and tranquil inn for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
