We are so pleased you chose the Boatyard Inn for your recent getaway to Whidbey Island and the village of Langley. You are right that most of our guests do exactly as you described: settle in, cooking up meals in the galley kitchens and dining al fresco out on the private beachfront decks. It's hard to take your eyes off... More

This lovely hotel is tucked down near the Langley Marina. We stayed here in August of last year and we had a wonderful stay. A music festival was taking place and sitting out on our deck, we were able to enjoy the sounds as they floated to us over the water. Great stay - next time, longer!

We're glad you enjoyed your stay at our inn last year and hope to see you back again this summer. Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your experience. It's Dungeness crab season right now, and our guests are enjoying walking over to the public dock next door and buying crabs right off the fishing boats.... More

We stayed at the Boatyard at the end of May, and it is one of the best facilities we have ever stayed anywhere in the world! All of the comforts of home (with a well equipped kitchen and a shared BBQ, which I loved with all of the fresh seafood in the area!) if our home was on the waterfront... More

OMG, thank you for the incredible review! Your TripAdvisor profile lists you as being from Reno, Nevada. If that is the case, I can't imagine a more different environment than the Pacific Northwest which obviously suited you! You captured the essence of the Boatyard Inn perfectly...just a block down the hill from town yet it feels miles away, tucked along... More

This is our third visit to the Boatyard Inn. We have stayed in Suite 5 both times before but chose Suite 4 with two bathrooms and two bedrooms. The views are stunning. Each bed is on a platform so you can see the sunrise and enjoy the beautiful mountains.

We are pleased and grateful to have you as a repeat guest and appreciate your writing reviews on your three visits to the Boatyard Inn. As you suggested, our rooms are waterfront, affording beach access and incredible views of Saratoga Passage, the Cascade Mountain Range, and Camino Island. Stayed for 3 nights and could have stayed longer. Great loft suite with everything we needed. Loved waking up in the morning with the view if the ocean. Would definitely return to the Boatyard Inn the next time we are in Langley.

We are so glad you enjoyed your recent stay at the Boatyard Inn and took the time to tell other travelers about your experience on TripAdvisor. We have just installed king beds in two of our loft units, #6 and #8, and are in the process of doing so in Studio 7 on the ground floor as well. We hope... More

My husband and I took a spring break to Whidbey Island and had the pleasure of staying here for a few days. Our studio room was cozy and the view was perfect! We can't wait to come back, again...and again. If you are looking for a lovely spot in Langley, stay at the Boatyard Inn. You will love it!

Thank you for choosing the Boatyard Inn for your spring getaway and for taking the time to write a review. I hope your visit included sunny days that might have enabled you to spend time out on the deck looking out for the grey whales that frequent Saratoga Passage this time of year. We too hope to see you again... More

This was our third time staying at the Boatyard Inn, and we will keep coming back. We have been there once as a couple, and now twice with our two young girls. We love being walking distance to everything in Langley, and having the beach literally next door is awesome! Having the kitchenette is huge for us, especially when the... More

Thank you for choosing the Boatyard Inn as your family retreat. The beach is certainly a draw for our guests, especially as the days get longer and tides lower. Depending on the ages of your girls, you might want to consider renting two-person kayaks that can be launched right next door to the inn (paddles and life jackets provided). A... More

Good choice. Very close to town - walking distance. Pleasant staff, well equipped rooms with a view over the water. Private deck with seating area. The only downside - the lower units could be a bit noisy if there is a bunch of kids jumping up and down upstairs. Highly recommended.

We are so glad you enjoyed your recent stay at the Boatyard Inn and that you took the time to write a review for fellow travelers. We recently stayed here for two nights. We were in Room number 1. It was really nice and cozy and a fun escape for a few days. The room was well equipped and laid out.
