This was a gem! The inn is located on the waterfront close to the marina and a short walk, uphill, to Langley. Had room 5 with a view of the bay. Room was clean and in great condition. Coffee and a few snacks provided in the kitchen area. The inn was very quiet and secluded to the point that we... More

Thank you for your recommendation of the Boatyard Inn to fellow travelers. Winter is a beautiful time of year to visit, the setting right on the beach beautiful and tranquil. Our guests love to turn on the fireplace, pour a glass of wine or mug of cocoa and gaze out at the amazing array of waterfowl that glide back and... More

We were lucky enough to celebrate another anniversary at our favorite getaway. We now live on Whidbey Island, but find ourselves returning to this magical spot for special occasions or for a chance to relax in front of the fireplace in a room that literally meets the ocean. Mynda, the wonderful innkeeper, put us in The Driftwood Suite which is... More

Its hard to find a place that lives up to their website and the Boatyard Inn certainly does. Quaint, beautiful, easy access. We were there for two nights and didn't want to leave. This Inn is right on the water with wonderful views, kitchenette, living room, fire place, outdoor patio just lovely. The town is at the top of the... More

Your enthusiastic endorsement of the Boatyard Inn and our staff is much appreciated. Fall is a wonderful time to be on Whidbey Island, with a variety of waterfowl returning for winter, crisp cool days, colorful autumn leaves, and spectacular sunrises over the Cascade Mountains in clear view from each of our units. We hope you will become an "all seasons"... More

We were lucky enough to get a reservation, in August, at this charming inn. We loved it! It's situated literally on the water. You couldn't get closer to the water, if you tried. The tide rises at night and the water flows underneath your deck and room. It's so peaceful falling asleep to the sounds of the waves. The room... More

Thank you so much for your flattering review of the Boatyard Inn and our management team. Summer vacancies are rare, as you pointed out, and we are pleased we were able to accommodate you during the prime season. We should have pointed out that drawers are built into the bed frames, and I am sorry you had to "live out... More

Last week, we had the good fortune to find a rare vacancy at the Boartyard Inn in the villiage of Langley, WA on Whidbey Island. Right on the waterfront, the Boatyard Inn is simply a wonderful place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the peace and quite of Whidbey Isalnd, while listening to the soft sounds of Saratoga Passage waves lapping... How nice of you to take the time to write such a detailed and enthusiastic endorsement of the Boatyard Inn. The accommodations and staff of the Boatyard Inn made our stay in Langley so enjoyable. I booked too late to get a water view but our two-story unit was so comfortable, cozy and well equipped with everything we needed. We took advantage of a deck with two waterfront chairs to read and enjoy a bottle of wine each day. It... More

We are so pleased you discovered our inn down on the Langley waterfront during your recent trip to Whidbey Island. Thank you for the compliments to our managers, Mynda and Sherri, who love their dual role as innkeeper/travel guide. The unit you were in, Townhouse 10, is exactly that: a small townhouse with a full kitchen, powder room, living room... More

This was my husband's and my favorite spot during our 8 day "tour of Seattle and surrounding area." We visited Seattle proper, the Snoqualmie Valley, Kirkland and Whidbey Island. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary in June. It was one of the cleanest and comfortable hotels we have stayed at in a long time. We had a late check-in, and they were extremely accommodating. Our room was a studio and it was perfect! We had a small kitchen, dining area, sitting area with a fireplace, and... More

Thank you for your enthusiastic endorsement of the Boatyard Inn. As you mentioned, one of the unique features of many of our units is the ability to see the water, mountains, and sunrise from the raised platform beds. The generous size of the rooms (600 to 900 square feet) indeed ensures our guests do not feel "cramped." I will pass... More

Had such a wonderful girls getaway here. Sherri, the assistant innkeeper was so friendly and helpful. She made me the best mocha from the lobby coffee machine I have ever had. We stayed at the Boatyard Inn in Langley recently and loved everything about it! Our room was one of their lofts, which can comfortably sleep 4. There are two sleeping areas--one in the upstairs loft and one just off the living area. Bonus: two bathrooms! The room was clean, spacious and, most of all, had a gorgeous view. We spent... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent experience at our inn.
