This is my second stay. I brought my daughter this time. We were in Room 6. Soothing, magnificant view. Inviting tea time. Interesting guests. Delicious breakfast. We look forward to our next visit. Love the high ceiling fan in our room. The soap dish in the oversized shower caught my eye and I was able to purchase one from the... More

"Thank you," Liz M for your second stay and delightful review. Your mention of meeting "interesting guests" is particularly noteworthy because this is one of the attributes of the Saratoga Inn that is seldom mentioned but often appreciated. While the Inn's common area provides an excellent space for these opportunities, the front porch really excels this possibility during the summer... More

I can't say enough about this place. The wrap-around porch furnished with its row of rocking chairs offers staggering views of the Puget Sound, as do most window views...gracious hosts & helpful staff (someone even put my son's sweaty soccer workout clothes in the laundry for him & it arrived folded on his bed a few hours later - no... You are very astute; the room to room sound attenuation that you have mentioned is accomplished with 2 1/2 inches of wall board and resilient channels between each room. This combined with double, staggered studs provides excellent privacy and we are pleased you mentioned it. Thank you for sharing your wonderful review and we look forward to your next visit.... Warm and friendly, with very gracious hosts and a delicious breakfast. We have been coming to Whidbey Island for nearly 30 years, and Saratoga Inn has become our favorite. It is a perfect relaxing few days after the rush of Christmas shopping.

We, as well as the local shop owners, are very appreciative of your loyalty to Langley and the Saratoga Inn. Many of the recent Hallmark Christmas shows remind us of the small town friendliness, no stop lights or parking meters, easy jay-walking and many alley ways to get about that Langley has to offer. The Whidbey Center for the Arts... More

We have returned here many times over the years when we need to get away from the city. Just a half hour ferry ride away from Mukilteo (north of Seattle) and then a short drive to Langley. Every time we visit we feel like a very welcome guest in someone's home. This time we came during a very stormy weekend... More

We are always delighted with a review from our repeat guests. The high bluff view from the Inn does provide a cozy perch with a fireplace to storm watch. Right now the snow covered Cascade mountains are outstanding within the view which seems to please everyone, including the staff. Thank you for all your loyalty and sharing pleasant comments with... We arrived at the charming Saratoga Inn a day before the third worst wind storm ever to hit Puget Sound. Needless to say, the power went out on the whole island and many roads were blocked by falling trees. We were warm and cozy in our second floor room while we watched the awesome power of the storm whip the... More

Thank you, so much for this gracious review and positive attitudes during the storm; it was a pleasure meeting both of you. Our electrician is scheduled to re-circuit the generator so that an oven and the coffee maker will perform as usual, however, it was a good shake out storm and the resourcefulness of chef Susan is certainly appreciated and... My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Saratoga Inn to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Everything about the inn was perfect. Our room was so charming and had a spectacular view. The breakfasts and afternoon snacks were absolutely delicious. It was our first time to the Saratoga Inn but we definitely plan to go back.

Today we are having some Wisconsin weather: sunny, crisp and rather cold outside. The snow capped Cascade Mountains are stunning this time of the year. Thank you for choosing the Saratoga Inn for your Anniversary celebration .... we do hope that you will be able to return again and again! Happy Holidays! More

My husband was involved in a motorcycle accident recently with amputation and multiple trauma. After traveling to Seattle for a couple of his clinic appointments at Harborview we were headed home to Whidbey Island and arrived in the midst of a horrific rain and wind storm. We tried four different roads to get home and all were blocked by downed... More

Your day was trying enough without a robust storm to deal with. We were so pleased that we could accommodate you but should mention that your positive and pleasant attitudes added to the other guests experience. While it was not a perfect evening, everyone said they enjoyed their stay and will certainly come back... with a storm event! This particular... More

We stayed one night in Nov. Warmly greeted upon arrival, and shown where the afternoon wine/cheese and breakfast were served, and then taken to our room. I thought this was very nice to make sure we knew where we should go. Room as in photo- very clean and presented well. We had a personalized welcome note which was a nice... More

Oh gosh, so sorry about that, we wish you had called the after hours number because we would have been able to retrieve a softer pillow for you.....happily ... no matter how late. We arrived on a Sunday evening and found out we were the only guests for the evening. The staff was so kind and catered everything to us. They stayed longer to make sure we had tea time and upgraded us to the room of our choice. As two women alone we also felt very safe staying at the inn. Breakfast... More

That happens sometimes during the fall/winter season but we are pleased to hear that you felt safe and sound. Since the Inn is situated right in town and very well lighted at nighttime, it does feel safe and there have been no incidents during its 21 years of service. Thank you for your review and come back again! More
