This place is a gem! It's so gorgeous and the motel rooms are super clean and comfortable. The sound of the ocean will lull you to sleep after watching the sunset over the ocean. It was quite chilly here at night in June so be prepared! Not much to eat around the resort (or in Forks), so packing food is... More

Two couples, good friends for many years, stayed two nights in an end two-bedroom unit in the Thunderbird building. The location was lovely - expansive view of the sea, surfers, island and amazing driftwood on the beach. The kitchenettes were well-stocked, the unit was roomy, clean and very nicely appointed - comfortable beds in each bedroom, a couch, dining table... More

Beautifully stunning beach with no crowds! This is a great spot to get away and not have TV or Internet. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin, no pets, #41 and had great views of sea stacks and James Island. Very comfortable cabin with heating in every room. There is a wifi room close by to check messages and email... More

We secured a beach camping permit hoping the sun would shine for 5 days. Although the weather did not quite cooperate, it is a beautiful beach with lots of surfers, friendly fellow campers and beachcombers. Be prepared to have to schlep your equipment over huge driftwood trees and baseball-sized rocks to get to the designated camping area. Sites on the... More

Camped on the wooded side of the resort. Spectacular view which warrants five stars. The facilities were lacking somewhat. Store has a couple of toilets and showers at the back which did not appear to be cleaned very often. Theres a little coffee hut over by the motel. The beach is gorgeous and for most of the day we had... More

I was excited to stay on First Beach in LaPush. I knew it wasn't a luxury place - and I knew that they were up front about not having cell phone, room phone, TVs etc. ANd that was a HUGE draw to me. On our last family trip before my twin girls go to college, I wanted family time without... More

Many options of where to stay from budget to luxury but be sure to book in advance. We stayed in a 2-bedroom cabin (#30), which had a full kitchen, living room, wood-burning stove, and covered deck with lounge chairs, and ocean view - was great! Excellent location, and all the staff we encountered were very nice and helpful. The cabin... More

We stayed two nights in the lodge. Our rooms were large with full kitchen amenities and a gorgeous view of the beach. Super clean and good beds. If you can request the second floor rooms, you will have a beautiful beach view. There is no daily maid service, nor is there anyone at the desk after 9pm. We came about... More

Grew up vacationing with parents. Recently was back for a few days and it was just as great.. the Quileute Oceanside resort motel and cabins are great. My sister and I spent several days. She hurt her ankle so we stayed pretty close on first beach a lot of the time. It was really perfect! We wished we could have... More

I will preface this review by saying I am a long-time visitor of the beaches near La Push, WA. Decades before the Twilight craze, my family vacationed along this wild, shockingly beautiful stretch of the Washington Coast. My last trip was over twenty years ago, and the resort has changed hands (although it is still run by the Quileute tribe).... More
