Went to La Conner for the Tulip Festival. This historic hotel is situated above shops and is accessed by stairs (no elevator). My room was small but well kempt, clean and had a private bath with a shower. There is coffee and hot water for tea in the lobby. There's no breakfast, however, there's a wonderful café across the street... More

My husband and I stayed her for my birthday, and we found it to be very charming, and cozy. We got the suite, and it had a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom! Very nice touch touch for couples. Parking is free, and it's within walking distance from everything.

We planned our trip fairly spontaneously, how awesome to discover this quaint hotel had room for us! We arrived fairly late and were afraid to disturb others but we were received warmly. The room was pretty little but so cute! Plenty of room and decorated sweetly! We enjoyed 3 very peaceful nights here. All staff we encountered went above and... More

Went to see the famed tulips, but the hotel alone was worth the trip! Spent three nights and were treated as family (in a good way). Staff on every shift was friendly and knowledgeable, representing their community well with suggestions and recommendations on how and where to go for best visit. Perfect downtown location to walk to dining and shopping.

What a surprise! We just walked in the door and they had a vacancy. The hotel looked very inviting and could not resist and walked up the grand staircase. A very pleasant receptionist met us and got us a great room in minutes. The room had great character and was spotless and the bed was great too and nice heavy... More

Stayed with them this past week and enjoyed a wonderful night in their jacuzzi room. The employees we spoke to were very kind and helpful with dinner recommendations. I do want to remind anyone looking to visit that this hotel was built in the early 1900's and renovated in the 80's. It's not new, but that said, it is beautiful... More

Old and historic, yet it has been kept up nicely with all the conveniences that we could ask for. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will be back. La Conner is a quaint, quiet, and tomantic town, and the Planter is the perfect romantic stay.

I've no idea how hotels with only 12 rooms manage to survive and make a profit, but whatever the financial side of the business may be, the Hotel Planter is looking well cared for. Most other comments/reviews need little amplification/clarification. The hotel is up a wide flight of stairs on the second floor. It has friendly staff and nicely decorated... More

I stayed at Hotel Planter on a voucher, so the price was very reasonable. The hotel is nicely restored to its 1907 charm. I visited in mid December and avoided the throngs of tourists that would plague a visit during the summer. The town was quiet, which was an advantage since my room overlooked the main street.
