La Conner might appear to some to be a bit "twee" seeming a bit like it has been pre packaged by Disney because like Disney it is perfectly manicured. The resemblance ends there though because the warmth of those who live and serve there has not been manufactured, it is entirely spontaneous. The Channel Lodge is a gem too, with... More

We had a wonderful time during our weekend at the Channel Lodge. The suite was large and very comfortable, and the fireplace was a nice touch. The channel view (including post-July 4 fireworks from the Reservation on the other side) was especially nice. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The Lodge was a great base for a quiet weekend... More

We wanted to go to La Conner in the summer after first visiting there last autumn, and take our bikes to cycle around the area. The Channel Lodge was as lovely in the summer as it was cosy in the Fall. We spend 2 days at the lodge. It has a rustic country cottage feel to the lobby as well... More

We have been coming here for years. We have tried other locations in La Conner - including the sister hotel - The Country Inn -- but none top the Channel Lodge. We enjoy the regular queen rooms -- have upgraded several times to suites, but like the bed close to the fire place and sitting area -- it's just us... More

Located on the water in an artsy small town, this charming lodge is a great place to stay. There is a large fireplace in the lobby that sets a warm ambience, even though it's just a gas faux fire. Our room did not overlook the water, but no loss there as there was a large jacuzzi tub in the bathroom... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay at this inn recently. Located on the channel at the end of the main street in LaConner this inn has quiet comfortable rooms, small balconies overlooking the channel, nice indoor and outdoor lounge areas; great continental breakfasts and coffee & cookies available most of the day. Very clean and great service and very... More

This place is not luxury but it is very nice. It is a unique lodge-style place with balconies out over the inlet. La Conner is such a great place to visit; with great, unique shops and amazing restaurants, and this hotel is one of the best places to stay. It is withing walking distance of everything. I highly recommend a... More

We were on our way back to Portland, OR, from the San Juan Islands where we had spent 5 days. Normally, we go straight through the area where La Conner is located. However, this time, we decided to spend the night in La Conner as the drive to Portland is significant and it helped to break up the trip. We... More
