Nice bigger park. It can handle very big class A rigs pulling a boat. There are lots of tent spaces, and quite a few RV spaces as well, though not all are full hook up they do have water and electric. The staff there were very nice. The laundry mat was clean, as was the game room and store which... More

Compared to other KOA's this has minimal amenities and the campground itself needs some serious attention. The roads are not gravel or paved, so if it rains, which it does in this area a lot, the roads to turn mud. If you make any trips to your car or the bathroom be prepared to wear your rain boots and hose... More

This was NOT what we expected. Though the campsites are large, the highway noise is SO loud, it makes it difficult to hear or sleep. The facilities are TERRIBLE. The toilets did not flush, but people kept using them. Sanitary napkin cans were overflowing with used tampons and pads. There were wads of used toilet paper scattered all around. I... More

We were looking forward to our recent camping trip to the Ilwaco KOA, but after one night, we were ready to go home. There is road noise no matter where you are in the park, and we thought it would be much closer to the beach, given the photos on the website. The beach is several miles away... We have... More

I formerly was a member of a local Recreation group that owns local sites. That being said, this place isn't perfect but it is definitely a work in progress. I have a travel trailer so the bathroom is not as crucial, but I do use the showers, and this was just as nice as the (expensive)membership places. They are in... More

KOA is usually the last place you should camp at, and that usually happens when you don't have reservations anywhere else, as it did with us. We arrived pretty late on a Saturday, and this was the only place we found that had free camping spots. Unfortunately, the camping spots are located right near the highway, so you can hear... More

Let me start by saying everything here was fine, and we love KOA's. The only problem was we were staying in a tent out near the HWY and got not a WINK of sleep, zero, nada, zip, zilch ZERO. We were extremely exhausted so we drove out onto the beach blocked up our windows and slept like rocks, sitting up... More

In the short amount of time we were at the park, we found it to be peaceful in a beautiful setting. The staff at this KOA are wonderful! They truly represent everything that is great about KOA!!!

I've stayed at this KOA several times over the years. Before the current owners took over, the place was getting a little run down and I did avoid it for a couple years. Last summer we decided to check it out again, the new owners have really done a great job fixing it up. The place looks brand new. They... More

I really would not recommend going here for the following reasons: 1 - Location: advertised as close to sea, reality - 5 miles away and beside a noisy, busy road 2 - 3 womens showers for the entire campsite 3 - Overpriced - cost $37 for a night on a holiday weekend compared with $25 in a much nicer campsite...
