The place is just amazing. Nestled away in the woods with a view of Mt. Hood in the distance. The rooms are steeped in history, and it feels like America from a less technological-fueled past. I'm giving it 5 stars, because it really deserves the rating for the quality, and comfort of the location. This is not to say or... More

In the middle of December we ventured to the Columbia Gorge during a winter storm to this beautiful country bed and breakfast. When our car became stuck 500 yards from our destination the owner of the BnB rescued us by plowing out the road ahead. We were so grateful to get to his warm and cozy accommodations. The decor was... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hudson Highlands bed and breakfast. After a long and somewhat confusing drive there which included cattle in the road and gravel roads, we finally arrived. We were greeted by a beautiful waterfall feature next to the parking lot and a very nice looking house from outside. Inside was nicely furnished though not... More

We stayed in Melanie's Room on the top floor. The views were breathtaking. We really enjoyed reading and falling to sleep by the sounds of the waterfall. We also enjoyed our leisurely walk around the property, enjoying the sheep, horse, lama and rabbits. We sat outside in Adirondack chairs and read out books. We had several choices for breakfast and... More

Located at the end of gravel roads, there is a hobby farm with sundry animals scattered around. A waterfall drops outside the main house. The room pleasant with good space, comfortable and offering views of Mount Hood. Nothing to dislike at all. Everything of a good standard and seems to attract good people.

My wife and I booked here to watch the Perseid meteor showers. It was almost a new moon and the view from this remote location was amazing! We saw over 50 that night. The B&B is about 30 minutes north of Hood River which really helped with the night sky. We were on a motorcycle and on the ride up,... More

It was our first time staying at a B&B and honestly we were nervous. We loved the isolated peaceful setting and our room was gorgeous. The host made great breakfasts and decorated the home beautifully. After this lovely experience we are certainly going to stay at a B&B again, and would not hesitate to stay here.

We chose this B&B for much-needed rest & relaxation, but got neither. The house & grounds are lovely, but impossible to enjoy due to the creepy, invasive, COMPLETELY inhospitable host, Jerry (?) This older guy host never introduced himself when I arrived at 5:30PM, & proceeded to mow the lawn @ 6PM in 104 degree heat. Despite his assurances, the... More

We booked this B&B when I couldn't find lodging in Hood River. It is quite the haul from Hood River and the last 2 miles are on a dirt road so be prepared. The room we had was clean and well kept. It was BEYOND hot at night though. When we asked about turning the AC up or a fan... More

The rooms are nice and the grounds looked beautiful. But weren't able to enjoy them. We checked in and went upstairs.Even with the AC the room was hot. It was 104 degrees that day. We were trying to cool down and we're watching a movie. I opened the windows and put on the fan. The older gentleman who let us... More

Odd Stuff checked in around 4:30pm and we had a nice talk about our NAVY days, he then filled out our registration slip and I asked him if there was any allergy's or things that he did not like for Breakfast and if he wanted coffee or tea, we then went up to the room and and he settled in,...
