Outstanding wedding venue. Carol and Jerry are the perfect B&B hosts. I would not have changed a thing. The B&B itself has beautiful accommodations with every thoughtful detail we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The scenery is awesome and the wedding planner was a big help. Yes, there were bees, but it is summer and there are beautiful flowers... More

I must retort the previous reviewer’s review. I attended the same wedding and I had a starkly different experience. The venue was beautiful as were the grounds and surrounding views – especially the view of Mt. Hood. The grounds were not “swarming” with bees. It was early August in the PNW, with flowers blooming everywhere. To expect no bees is... More

I attended a wedding held at this location on one of the hottest days in August (89°) and it was not a good experience. The place was swarming with bees, one of the guests was stung during the reception. The restroom facilities consisted of two port-a-potties out by the barn for the well clad guests to use and there was... More

This individual had it in for the bride and was not happy at all, the bride chose that date and an a outdoor wedding we have no control over the weather. We have bee traps, but this year was very bad as all the Venues have said. We are on a septic system and have very nice Wedding restrooms. Our... More

Do not stay here! I called and asked Jerry about the “Wet Planet Rafting Package” if four adults stayed for two nights in the Melanie’s Suite (regular price $175) and went rafting two days would we get the $50 discount off both nights, so the rate would be $125 for each night, for a total of $250. Jerry confirmed that... More

To rebut John H. statement: He called for a reservation in the Melanie Suite, he asked if it slept (4) fore, I told him that it had a day bed and trundle at an additional cost. All our room are double occupancy and we can furnish an extra bed in all rooms, this is also on our web site. He... More

This place was charming for a wedding, my husband and I were guests at a wedding. It's a drive to it out in the country but totally worth it once you get there. They also have quite a few farm animals who are super friendly and add to the overall charm and friendliness of the place.

I haven't stayed at Husum Highlands B&B. I was a guest at a wedding here in August 2013. The garden was a perfect setting to a charming, outdoor summer wedding. It was absolutely picturesque and beautiful.

We had our wedding reception at this location and could not be happier with the views, the location, the quality of service etc... I find some of the negative reviews really trite and superficial. This B&B is in the country and the owners are country people, not big city yuppies at least that is the impression Jerry and Carol gave... More

The only disappointment about Husum B&B was that the weather did not cooperate and Mt Hood and the valley were hidden in the clouds. Other than that, we felt right at home with Carol, Jerry and Ashley. Jerry & Carol built their house to replicate a turn-of-the century farm house. The attention to details is incredible. This is a working... More

Beautiful property, lovely furnishings, warm and friendly atmosphere, the breakfast was delicious and conversation lively and informative. A great place to get away from it all and enjoy the charm of life in the country with spectacular views of Mt. Hood out the window.

The hosts are warm, friendly, and caring. The house and rooms are comfortable and charming. The breakfasts are wonderful. The scenery is spectacular. My room looked out on the waterfall - I kept my window open so I could hear it. The weekend was wonderful!
