We felt like a price and princess in the King Room on our honeymoon. The breakfast was super yummy. Innkeepers were friendly and helpful. We loved touring the castle/mansion and discovering all the hidden gems such as the balconies, the guest rooms, the third level original ornate carved wood bar area. We read about the place in the AAA guide book and decided to stay there for our anniversary during our tour of northwest Washington. This is an interesting hotel. Maybe its being British but allegedly the Americans love this late 19th century mansion. The interior décor is over the top and crowded with early 20th century artefacts, we had an antique dolls pram in our bathroom.
