This place is unlike anywhere else in the area. Your very own log cabin, stone fireplace, tub for two and breakfast is included! Every detail is taken care of. There are fresh flowers on the table and your table is set lovingly for breakfast in the morning. Fluffy towels, soaps, shampoos and bubble bath are all provided for you. Romance,... More

From the patience we were shown (we had to get there late) to the courtesy of allowing us to look at more than one cabin, the service was wonderful. The music was playing in the living room, fresh cut flowers were on the table. The food was plentiful and very tasty. Our cabin was tucked peacefully in the trees while... More

We found it on the internet. It seemed the best of our choices. I was a little afraid it would be too log cabin cheesy, but I was wrong. It was quaint, secluded, and perfect. We stayed in the Log Cabin. It was great. I have a hard time sleeping on most beds unless they are inflatable, but this bed... More

We stayed 4 nights at the Guest House Cottages on Whidbey during the end of February. It was truly magical. We stayed in the Log Cabin which I would highly recommend. We were the only ones on the whole grounds and it felt very private and cozy. The cabon was a bit smaller than I had anticipated but it wound... More

We came to Whidbey Island for a friend's wedding and stayed at the Guest House Log Cottages per the couple's recommendation. We just loved it! It is clear that whoever runs the place pays a lot of attention to detail. The place had everything you could ever possibly need and all of it is complimentary. The kitchen was stocked with... More

South Whidbey's Guest House Cottage Resort is absolutely precious! If you are seeking an escape from the glut of contemporary high rises, soulless condos, and fast impersonal service ...come to South Whidbey and stay in this resort. The managers treat YOU AS FAMILY and negotiate to your needs, so communicate them and be honored. Deep feather beds to sink into.... More

We stayed two nights in the Kentucky Log Cottage. It was much larger than I expected and is very secluded. We enjoyed our stay very much. Since the cottage is in a very wooded location, the skylights in the bedroom, bathroom, living room, dining room & kitchen help a lot to provide good light. The cottage has a “real cabin”... More

The lodge of Guest Hose Log Cottages is one of the most relaxing getaways I have ever had. It is situated in the middle of the forest; with a deck on a little pond complete with ducks and turtles. I felt like a guest at my aunt’s place, welcoming me to her home. Before she left she would make sure... More

My husband and I stayed in the largest of the cabins called "the Lodge". It was a wonderful experience! We had all the amenties of home in an remote, secluded part of Whidbey Island. This was our last get away before we found out we were expecting our first child. We enjoyed ourselves emensely and would recommend it to anyone.... More

After much humming and hawing, my wife and I decided to spend a long weekend here instead of our own gulf islands in Canada. I must say I didn't regret it one bit. First off, realize that Whidbey Island is not a big city environment. If you are looking for high brow 5-star accomodations, go to Seattle. Whidbey is for... More
