We stayed two nights in the Kentucky Log Cottage. It was much larger than I expected and is very secluded. We enjoyed our stay very much. Since the cottage is in a very wooded location, the skylights in the bedroom, bathroom, living room, dining room & kitchen help a lot to provide good light. The cottage has a “real cabin”... more

The lodge of Guest Hose Log Cottages is one of the most relaxing getaways I have ever had. It is situated in the middle of the forest; with a deck on a little pond complete with ducks and turtles. I felt like a guest at my aunt’s place, welcoming me to her home. Before she left she would make sure... more

My husband and I stayed in the largest of the cabins called "the Lodge". It was a wonderful experience! We had all the amenties of home in an remote, secluded part of Whidbey Island. This was our last get away before we found out we were expecting our first child. We enjoyed ourselves emensely and would recommend it to anyone.... more

After much humming and hawing, my wife and I decided to spend a long weekend here instead of our own gulf islands in Canada. I must say I didn't regret it one bit. First off, realize that Whidbey Island is not a big city environment. If you are looking for high brow 5-star accomodations, go to Seattle. Whidbey is for... more

We stayed in the "Log Cabin", one of a handful of private free-standing cabins on the 25 acres or so of wooded property Guest House owns. It was an absolutely charming place, with wood-burning stove, fully stocked fridge and equipped kitchen (meaning we could make our own snacks like popcorn to have while watching a borrowed DVD in front of... more

Once upon a time people dreamed of romantic places like this one... but thanks to the kindness and generosity of the Creger Family, they invite us to step into their fairytale cottages and create magical memories all our own. I am a professional photographer and world traveler. My husband and I have stayed in numerous B&Bs in various countries and... more

We stayed in "The Lodge," the largest log house in their collection, and we loved every minute! The woodsy setting was beautiful- feeding the ducks and geese on the pond from the deck was a treat! The house is full of unusual antiques, conversation starters! My spouse and I spent our two night stay enjoying the fire in the fireplace,... more

We stayed at the Guest House Log Cottages for only one night a couple of weekends ago. What a find! Each cabin is separate from the others, and even though it's situated off of the main highway, you can't hear any traffic noise. It's VERY quiet, secluded, and very romantic. Just a short drive down the highway and you're at... more

This was truly a gettaway from the stressful and fast paced life we live today. Nestled away in the woods on beautiful Whidbey lsland, the cottages are a relaxing and very detailed interpretation of the natural life in the northwest. The antique decoration throughout the cabin was very unique and five nights of pleasure were truly unforgettable. The staff/owners are... more
