By far this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. My brother's room had no heat. The electrical outlets were falling out of the wall. when the power went out, there was no assistance whatsoever. the management didn't even come by and ask if everyone was okay. no flashlights; no candles were offered or available. Usually when a full... More

We were looking for a place to stay for a auto parts swap meet in Monroe, Wa., and the only rooms available in Monroe and Sultan were $350.00 per night. I checked with The Stevens Pass Motel, and he had a nice upstairs big room with kitchen for $75.00 a night. We stayed 2 nights and were VERY happy. It... More

We stopped here because we were doing work on a home in Gold Bar, so this was convenient. It has been recently updated (stay in the rooms above the restaurant) and the room was large. We got a room with a jacuzzi tub by the bed. That was a nice place to relax sore muscles after a day of long... More

I would agree with "Bates Motel". The front desk manager, who was probably the owner, was not very friendly at all. They have a flashing sign that says 'military/veterans discount' and when I inquired about it, he blew it off. It was my bad that I didn't force the issue. The room maids were friendly but the rooms were scary... More

This motel is the Bates Motel.. The towels are ripped just short of rags, the bed linens are covered with animal hair and appeared slept in with a gentle helping of perhaps blood splatters!! We cannot be sure of that, but what we are sure of is the damaged and grossly stained furniture that is not fit to place your... More

My boyfriend and I stayed the night at the Stevens Pass Motel for his 18th birthday and our room was great. Everything was nice and clean, the bed was super comfortable and we had a great time. From the moment we arrived the staff was very nice and inviting so we felt right at home :)

The motel is old and hanging on. It had the things you want as long as your looking for clean with no high amenities or rates. You are ok if your neighbor is considerate about noise and smoking. Very close entry ways with one window and no AC. Pleasant and accommodating staff. Gold Bar's only other option is a high... More

We booked this motel because it was on our route to Seattle, where we were headed for a vacation. The bathroom smelled like urine but we figured we could tolerate that for one night since there weren't many other hotels nearby, and you don't sleep in the bathroom anyhow. But soon after arriving we sat on the bed and noticed... More
