A bit of an old fashioned place, but I like that. Decore is late 1980s/early 1990s, everything is in good repair, chachkies are kept to a minimum. The grounds and home and scrupulously maintained, and the breakfast is good and fresh; no creepy plastic container coffee makers here. Everything is of very good quality and it is very convenient to... More

Located a few minutes by car from "downtown" Gig Harbor, surrounded by stately evergreens, and a home to wonderful hosts, this B&B is indeed a breath of fresh air. Jen is the perfect hostess, friendly, helpful and willing to listen to our tales of travels. Giullio is a true crafstman. They both work together well having spent years building their... More

Just got back from a short vacation in Gig Harbor and was s very impressed with this B & B. First of all it is so beautiful - the owner is a woodworker so the place has so many beautiful details, the rooms were nicely furnished with all the amenities. They had our lots of snacks for the afternoon and... More

Bear's Lair is, simply put, a little slice of loveliness tucked away on the outskirts of Gig Harbor. We found Bear's Lair thanks to a LivingSocial deal, timed perfectly for an anniversary trip in December. Reserving the room was as easy as a phone call and showing up. The first time we stepped into the Carriage House, we were blown... More

A great little hideaway in the Pacific Northwest. Very friendly, lovely breakfast and such great conversation with a great owner. We would love to return in the spring and summer to see the flowers in bloom!

This b & b is so comfy and cozy! The owners have thought of everything to make a stay so relaxing! The carriage house has been done without missing any details. A gourmet kitchen, dining area, fireplace and woodwork is beautiful! Breakfasts were so delicious! We'll be back!

This was an ultimate getting spoiled adventure. We were only able to stay one night due to our travel plans. We stayed in the Carriage House. It was gorgeous, well furnished, clean with many extras. The bed was wonderful. We would come back here again without a moment's hesitation. Thanks for a great stay Jen!

Fabulous B&B, beautiful setting, very comfortable great room for sitting and visiting where breakfast is served. The owners really extend themselves to make your visit to the area perfect. Beds are comfortable. Very clean B&B which is most important to me.

There is really little I can add to all the rave reviews about this place. My wife and I stayed here for two nights in late August, 2014. If you are looking for a place that is immaculate, friendly, and beautifully situated in a quiet, country environment then look no further. Jen, the innkeeper, claims that she and her husband...
