We stayed here last weekend. The rooms are big, with a microwave and Fridge. The furnishing is basic, but comfy. if you are going to be in the room just for the night, it is a great option, being one of the cheapest in the area. Breakfast is nothing special, cereal and bagels and toast. It is right across the road... more

We have stayed at this property several times when visiting Whidbey. It is a motel with exterior doors and parking outside the rooms. They provide very large rooms which are clean and have a fridge. However, the rooms are very basic, with cheap furniture and 80's era restrooms. We've always found the staff to be friendly. The main attraction for... more

Our main concern in finding a place to stay on Whidbey Island one weekend in September 2007 was being able to board with our dog, as we came to the island for a dog-related event. We found the Harbour Inn listed in a dog-friendly travel book. It is a property built in about the 1960s (room doors open to the... more

In October 2006, my fiance and I got engaged and began planning our wedding. We found a lovely location out in Freeland and then began reserving rooms for guests. The Harbour Inn's website made it seem like a lovely and convenient location for guests. I immediately reserved a number of rooms. Throughout the months leading up to our special and... more

Management response from

We regret that this guest had a bad experience at our hotel. However, the problem resulted from her unwillingness to go along with our policy for making group reservations: We are a small property, just 20 rooms and get all manner of guests (vacationers, families, workers, etc.). Since we run nearly full year-round we can not block or hold rooms...

We visited the properties website and reviewed tripadvisor prior to booking a room for 4 days at this motel. The hotel was close to a ranch we enrolled our grand daughter at for a 5 day horse camp. We also volunteer at the ranch and we had been looking for a convenient place to stay we we visited. The website... more

Very clean and quiet. We were visitng friends on the island. The location was ideal for us. Adequate breakfast with fresh fruit, cereal, toast,... more

Stayed at the Harbour Inn for one night during Langley's Mystery Weekend the last weekend in February. I originally had reservations at a B&B in Coupeville, which was about 30 miles from where we were mainly going to be, so booked this room at the last minute which was only four miles away. At first, I booked their "budget queen"... more

The Harbour Inn is great family motel not far from Langley, etc on Whidbey Island. It's 10 min from the ferry, very clean, comfortable (the rooms are huge!) and was totally accomodating of our special requests. Dogs are allowed in some of the rooms, and the room we had included a very nice kitchenette. There is a grocery across the... more
