We stayed in the outback2 cabin for one night during our trip through olympic national park. The lodge is located a short drive off the main road so it is very quiet. We didn't get a chance to meet the owners since we checked in late at 9pm, they left our keys and some instructions at the front desk area.... More

The Manitou Lodge is a charming large Bed & Breakfast, west of Forks, WA and very near the beach. The lodge is well kept, and so nicely decorated. The main house has a floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace & a rustic architecture that blends in well with the large rain-forest trees. Every room at the lodge is beautiful and cozy. We family... More

We stayed here for two nights in the "pocahontas" room. We found it to be a comfortable location. It was clean and quiet. While they don't serve a full/typical B&B breakfast, we appreciated having breakfast at our own time and what was provided was very good. The owners are a little scarce, but we had no issues. I would stay... More

We booked this place because it had a 2-bedroom suite that was just right, priced right, and available when we needed (late Aug, 2014). Little did we know that it would be such a wonderful and delightful discovery! We all would have loved to have stayed longer, and would definitely like to return. It's quaint, homey, very comfortable, peaceful, quiet,... More

We visited lodge on Friday of Labor day weekend as a last minute cancellation made a room available. What a beautiful and peaceful location. We enjoyed sitting on patio and relaxing and loved the visit from resident dog and cat. Great room was pleasant in the evening with a fire and hot beverages and lots of games and conversation with... We found this place because of the good reviews on TripAdvisor. It turns out we were not disappointed. Our room is a bit small, but it feels homey and you can see the owners put a lot of thoughts in the decorations. The resident manager, Tye, is quite friendly. There is no restaurant on site, so it is best to... More

My wife and I visited Manitou Lodge on 27 Aug 2014 and were very happy we did. We were circling the Olympic Peninsula on US 101 and booked a night at Manitou on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. Its location is beautiful -- in the middle of a coastal forest. It is an incredibly peaceful place... More

This was a rare instance where the accommodations were even better than expected. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Would recommend it without a second thought. Enjoyed the greetings of Franklin and Max, the resident dog and cat, too! We stayed in the Owl cabin with two bedrooms, which were spotless with lovely decor. The home made waffles were... More

We were a family of four (with two boys 9 and 4 years old) who very much enjoyed our stay in the tent at this lodge. Great location, quiet, everything was very comfortable, friendly people. Tent was comfortable with fire pit right in front of it as well as covered table and chairs. Portable bathroom was very clean. Great way... More

The lodge is well kept, clean and nicely decorated. The guest lounge has a floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace & rustic architecture that blends in well with the large rainforest trees. There is a variety of tea and fruit all day in the lounge. The innkeepers, Marcy & Tye are friendly and helpful. They do a good job of making sure you... More
