Wonderful place to stay. Remote and relaxing, also easy to get to town. Great break from electronics and life! The owner was very helpful with suggestions of what to do and where to eat in the area. The fireplace and lodge are beautiful, don't forget to sit by the fire and have a cup of cocoa. The breakfast was good... More

Great location for access to Rialto Beach. This quirky little house was a lovely place to stay for one night, friendly owners serving great breakfasts & Coffee!! This is a very remote location however and 1 night was enough for us, but highly recommended.

Unfortunately, we only had one night here and we got in after dark, then left early morning so we couldn't enjoy the grounds or hiking trail. Tye welcomed us and gave us the tour. The public great room is beautiful and well appointed. Our room the Sacagewa was very cozy, comfy and decorated beautifully. Bed was very comfortable. Fireplace in... More

Marcy and Tye, the resident managers, were so nice--they gave us our privacy but were available whenever we needed them. Our room was cozy and was upgraded because we were the only people there for the weekend, yay offseason! The breakfast Sandwich and Waffles served as great starts to the day the two mornings we stayed. Will definitely return, a... More

I can't say enough about how wonderful our visits to The Manitou Lodge have been... My [now] fiancé and I first visited the lodge in February of 2014, and immediately fell head-over-heels in love with the lodge's setting within the magical NW Washingtonian temperate rainforest. We were doubly flabbergasted upon our first steps into the lodge--we'd both traveled around the... More

My friend and I stayed in an Eagle room for one night, back in August. We really just needed a bed to sleep on so we could spend as much time as possible at the beach and exploring the coast. What we got was so much more. The attitude of the staff, from the minute we checked in till the... More

I chose Manitou Lodge at the last minute and booked the Cedar Suite for my mother and I, who were visiting the Olympic Peninsula for a short time, trying to take as much advantage as we could of the short November days. We woke up in Seattle and managed to take in the island ferry, Bainbridge Island, the Dungeness Spit,... More

The Manitou Lodge was outstanding. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were home. The lodge was immaculate and welcoming. The lodge is situated just a few miles from La Push beach. Each morning we took delight in wondering what was waiting for us for breakfast. The lodge had plenty of board games, books, music and more. would... More

Our stay at Manitou Lodge was idyllic, a retreat from the world in a beautiful rain forest setting, filled with character and soul. An ideal base for enjoying the sights of the North West Pacific Coast. Good for romantic escapes or for sharing the company of other guests in the grand main room in front of the fire, out on... We stayed for 4 nights in the outback cabin..we loved the property, the lodge and the hosts..we were busy every day hiking and going to the beach and enjoying the gorgeous natural scenery..so we didn't spend a huge amount of time in the room..we didn't have a bathroom or shower connected to our room, but it wasn't that much of...
