We were a family of four (with two boys 9 and 4 years old) who very much enjoyed our stay in the tent at this lodge. Great location, quiet, everything was very comfortable, friendly people. Tent was comfortable with fire pit right in front of it as well as covered table and chairs. Portable bathroom was very clean. Great way... More

The lodge is well kept, clean and nicely decorated. The guest lounge has a floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace & rustic architecture that blends in well with the large rainforest trees. There is a variety of tea and fruit all day in the lounge. The innkeepers, Marcy & Tye are friendly and helpful. They do a good job of making sure you... More

We stayed two nights and rented some tents and bedding from the Lodge. It was perfect. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and were very accomodating. We spoke with them several times before we made the reservation and they were very helpful and patient. Very convenient for a family that wishes to camp for a short period... More

All the review descriptions in the Poor and terrible category are what we experienced. No one to greet you at check-in time (phone number provided was busy), thin walls (hear snoring in the next room), awful breakfast (microwave your own pre-made something). Rarely saw the manager around. The place has potential, but the website is misleading, not sure how long... More

We loved staying at Manitou! The great room was comfortable and full of interesting things to read or play. There was also a large selection of teas, chocolate, cider, and coffee. There were suitable glassware if you brought your own wine. We liked the idea of having our breakfast in our mini fridge to heat at our convenience. Loved the... More

The location is very quiet and serene...but the walls are so thin, I could hear the guy next door snoring..and the family below us talking so loud they woke us up around 6:30 am...and the breakfast was not edible for me ...the room is nice...a bit small...

Manitou Lodge may be a bit off the beaten path but is definately worth the effort. The surroundings were a beautiful mix of wilderness and meditation garden so you feel at peace as soon as you pull up. Once inside you are greeted by a soaring great room with soothing music playing and refreshments beside the door...think hot, rich coffee!... More

After flying from DCA through CVG to SEATAC, driving from Seattle all the way to Forks, with tired seven year-old twins, we were confronted by every traveler's nightmare...wait for it..."what reservation?" Yes, somehow our reservation was for 2015, not 2014. So, the lodge room we wanted was not available. Luckily Marci had one room still open - the RV. I... More

We stayed here for three nights and were sorry to have to leave. It was relaxing, comfortable, beautifully appointed, hospitable and just what we needed after flying from the east coast and driving for way too many hours from Seattle. Manitou has a magical, enchanted quality about it...the great room, the fire place, the soft music, the lovely grounds....We were... More

We spent two nights here about 10 days ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Blooming hydrandea greeted us as we walked up the steps to our cabin that housed two sets of guests. Although the room was small, it was ample space for two adults. The (gas) fire in the lodge building felt great after a cool, damp day spent hiking.... More
