Solid food hand-delivered to your room a day in advance, nice managers, great location and comfortable rooms. The main living room in the lodge has a lot of fun literature and games, and the B&B is perfectly situated for easy access to the Hoh Rainforest and Olympic National Park. A lovely stay for our weekend getaway.

My husband and I wanted to go camping, but didn't have any of the gear we needed. This place was a great find, with a little cabin in the woods! Pet friendly was a big bonus for us too! Had a great stay, thank you.

Manitou may call themselves a B & B but their service and amenities don't even come close to B & B quality. When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk so one of the cleaning women had to call the owner who was in the process of packing for a trip. She arrived quickly after summoned and... More

We make a sincere effort to extract value and respond to constructive suggestions from every review (e.g. a recent review called our attention to a noisy bathroom fan - it has since been replaced). However, in this review virtually nothing was found satisfactory: Our service was deemed lacking (staff here is very busy, and cannot stand idle at the front... More

The setting is truly idyllic. Very peaceful. We stayed in a cabin with our daughter, who had her own bedroom, and dog. Close to Rialto beach (5 miles) and not that far to Beach 2 and 3 near LaPush. All lovely. Our only complaint was that the bathroom switch turned on both the light and a noisy fan. Impossible to... More

The Manitou Lodge was the perfect host for a few days out on the Olympic Peninsula. The place has wonderful character, is kept up nicely, very welcoming and accessible staff (Ty was fabulous), and is a perfect physical location for exploring both the coast and inland Olympic Peninsula. In an area with a small number of lodging options, Manitou Lodge... More

If you love forests, trails and the Ocean, it's probably the best place to stay on The Olympic Peninsula…The feeling here is exceptional and the owners are so kind. If you have a chance to stay here, don't forget to explore around the Lodge and maybe you will find The Tree hidden in the woods…

I had only planned to stay overnight in Port Angeles but was so enthralled by the Rainforest that I didn't want to leave yet. I was not at all prepared for another overnight stay but they have everything you can need. I had the Guadalupe Room and stood on the deck in the mist watching the forest. The bed is... More

Very nice place, tucked away from most everything else, QUIET, good breakfasts to boot! The staff is very accommodating, Ty, is awesome!!!!!! We didn't have the pleasure of meeting his wife who was away on personal business but it's a safe bet she's awesome too.

Such a great getaway from the mainstream. We both love the outdoors and the lodge was a great way to be in nature but still be comfortable. Travel to the lodge was beautiful. We loved the warm and home like feel, and the staff was very welcoming. We plan to make the lodge an annual trip.

We had a fabulous trip. Weather was perfect. The Manitou Lodge was wonderful. We stayed in the Sacagawea Room and had the whole lodge to ourselves. The facility was clean and very inviting. Breakfast in the morning was great. We will definitely be back!
