We stayed here for 2 nights sept 2015. very small sites, but you are right on the beach, so i guess a trade off. For some reason I always end up right beside the annoying family with screaming out of control kids, Ranger entered sight to inquire about the stick we used to prop up our tarp.I guess its against... very nice campground in huge trees with many sites overlooking the ocean. My site was not on the ocean but I could still hear the waves from my campsite. Nice beaches too. Clean and for the number of sites there it was pretty quite. Would go back for sure.

I love this campground! We stayed one night during the week. The sites are spacious and clean with a picnic table and firepit with a grill for cooking. The bathrooms nearbye are clean and have toilet paper. We could tell alot of care went in to making people enjoy their stay. $20.00 per night is a great deal and well... More

I have been coming to Kalaloch for years, it is by far my favorite place along the coast. They have beautiful beaches just a walk away from any campsite. If you want a campsite on the beach book months in advance...those spots fill up fast.

We chose Kalaloch Campground because it's the only campground that you can make reservations for at Olympic NP. We had a site near the road (which was really near the road, only a few yards away). The sites near the beach were much prettier. Someone complains on TripAdvisors that the sites are small ... What? Our site was huuuuge. There... More

This is great and very busy campground in the Olympic National Park. It is very inexpensive compared to state campgrounds that are now very expensive due to the lack of funding from the state. But this place is federally funded and run by a concessionaire who does a good job. But you must reserve a spot during the busy season.... More

My friend and I were only there for a night. We brought a tent and enjoyed the space of the campground--every one has a picnic table and spot to park. We were row C and found it quiet, with a smooth ground cover for under the tent that made for comfortable sleeping in our bags. There were plenty of water... More

Amazing campground on the hill overlooking the beach. Lots of trees , birds, and access to the beach. The bathrooms had running water and a truck came around selling firewood. Great location for doing the west side of the park. We had a wonderful time.

First, this is one of only 2 Olympic Nat. Park campgrounds actually at the beach. South Beach campground, a couple of miles south, is a 'primitive' campsite, has no water, few campsites, and is even more difficult to get a site than Kalaloch. Mora, up the coast a bit, sits 2 miles off the beach. Getting a campsite at Kalaloch... More

This place is always busy, even in 'off peak' season, but there are lots of sites and you might get lucky and get an ocean-view from your camping spot. The sites themselves are TINY. Be forewarned about this - some of them can barely accommodate 1 medium-sized tent, but I guess people find a way to manage. In the end,... More
