The owner is absolutely hospitable! Cottages are clean, but tiny. The beds are comfortable, the hide a bed is doable but is a typical hide a bed. It is a great way to experience the whole area, a home like feel in the middle of a Great location. Not far from the rain forest, the push beach, and port Angeles.... More

I'm a Twihard, tard so when we went to visit our friends in Seattle, we HAD to make the trek to the Olympic Peninsula to be and stay in Forks. My husband found these adorable cottages. We stayed in the Bella cottage which was so cozy and dreamy that I didn't want to leave. We had stopped at the Country... More

This is an excellent choice. Lodging is limited and most of the motels look alittle run down. The Shadynook Cottages are cute, newer, and easy to find just a couple blocks from the main drag. We had a great experience with our accomodations. Clean, roomy, private, and well worth the price. We stayed in the Bella cottage and we had... More

Even though we weren't knocked out by our cottage, I do believe that this may be one of the better places to stay in Forks. Most of the hotels/motels we drove by seemed pretty run down, so we were relieved to be staying here. We stayed in the "Bella" cottage. There were just two of us, and it was very... More

I must admit that i was a bit dubious booking a month-long stay at a place that I'd only seen via pictures on the internet. However, I can honestly state that I was very pleased that I decided to take a chance and stay at Shadynook Cottages. My trip to Forks was both personal and business-related. I'm a writer, and... We had a pleasant stay. The purpose of our trip was to experience the 'Twilight' tour. The cottages are named after the characters. We stayed in team 'Jacob' since the other 2 cottages Bella & Edward is occupied. The insides of our cottage are decorated with twilight themes- Jacobs posters in particular. You will find a small reading corner where... More

Comfortable, clean place with full kitchen. Stayed in Bella's cottage. Don't count the pull out couch as a 2nd bed - too uncomfortable for an adult to sleep on. No TV. Not a Twilight fan and this place wasn't overdone. Owner a little absent minded but friendly. Nice little courtyard.

The hotels in Forks book up fast during the summer. This Inn was recommended by our first choice, a B&B that was filled. On a phone call, the owner warned us that the cottage was small. It turned out to be adequate with a small kitchen that came in handy since no breakfast is offered. The only problem with this... More
