Good spot, we're coming back next Christmas. Cut off from the Wifi and that was kind of beautiful and forced us to enjoy the immediate surroundings. My wife and son both said this was one of the most special Christmas experiences we have had as a family.

Very atmospheric, great location on a low cliff above the beach, a few miles away from Ruby Beach and the enterance to the Hoh rainforest. Excellent restaurant - the organic carrot ginger soup and the black cod are highly recommended. Plan to return next time we visit the Olympic Peninsula.

Having no internet was very enlightening. Usually we are all attached to devices and not having any reason to use them made us get creative. We discovered many things about ourselves and it is an experience we will never forget. Very simple and green, great views and great food. The restaurant is very cool and tell you all about what... The Kalaloch lodge is right on the Pacific ocean a few miles south of Ruby beach which is itself south of Forks, WA. This hotel is on a strip of line right along the ocean which is part of the Olympic National Park. The hotel consists of several different rooming options. There is a regular hotel section, a more modern... More

We stayed Friday and Saturday nights to participate in our son's wedding held on the bluff in front of their cabin. A small family gathering of 15 enjoyed different types of lodging and meals on premises. The Creekside Restaurant did a good job of accommodating our post-wedding luncheon (kids amongst us). Kudos to Jade Blair! Three meals and excellent service.... More

Easy jumping off point to visit the beaches and various rain forests, especially the Hoh rain forest, the Big Cedar and a quick drive up to Forks, WA. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the accommodations were great. Had a well stocked (with pans / plates, etc) efficiency kitchen with 'partial' view of the water which turned out... The weather cooperated nicely. We stayed in one of the bluff cabins this trip and were not disappointed. The views are magnificent! As always, the staff were all pleasant, professional and informative. Already looking forward to our next trip.

This was a fantastic place for one of the best breakfasts that we've had in a long time. Jade, our server, was super cool, friendly, and funny. She kept the superb Seattle's Best Rainforest Blend (according to what she said) coffee coming and it was worth the trip just for that. The food was out of this world, perfect and... More

We enjoyed our trip during the winter -- it was very isolated, quiet and gentle. The location is amazingly beautiful and the rain forest sites are relatively close. The restaurant food was average at best, and yet the price was above average for an isolated location. Distances between outdoor sightseeing locations are noteworthy, so plan on leaving enough travel time.... More
