Stayed here for two nights on a trip around the peninsula April 2013. The cabin was incredible. Comfortable beds, a kitchenette, great shower (we had been camping for two nights) woodstove felt great. A bonus feature was no WiFi on very spotty Cell coverage. (I say bonus since I could not think about work at all, it was GREAT!) Our... More

We had a cabin one row back from the bluff cabins. It was very clean and comfortable. The pillows and comforter were to die for. The Franklin stove was quite toasty and easy to keep going. Nice touch getting wood each day. The view was amazing. We got lucky on the weather, and it was nice each day we were... More

The lodge has absolutely no amenities, no wi-fi, no tv, no cell phone coverage, no climate control and the rooms have that musty feel and smell that comes with trying to be rustic by not doing anything for 40 years. We paid $200/night and that was one of the biggest rip offs I've encountered. You would be better off staying... More

Bluff cabins are ok, but were dirty. Maid staff did not even enter the room on day two. When we complained, we were given a totally stupid reason: we supposedly agreed to take $5 off our bill for no maid service. What jerk thought this up. Please don't try to eat the food. I don't know where the Chefs/cooks went,... More

We made reservations over the phone. We asked for the best cabin on the bluff. We pre paid for there best cabin and it would be, over $230.00 per night , then took off for the 3 hr trip, had a great time on the way. We checked in and right away realized the web sight and the hotel itself... More

Short story: our stay at Kalaloch Lodge was fantastic. Long Story: The trip started out great with my fiancé and I getting engaged. I couldn’t keep my excitement to myself so I of course blurted it out at the front desk. Everyone was so excited for us and they were kind enough to let me call my mom and give... More

The location of this place is great. Right on the ocean with great views. Guess I didn't read the fine print but be warned: NO WIFI, NO TV, & LIMITED CELL ACCESS. The rooms were also a bit of a letdown for $130 on a weeknight (can't imagine what a peak season weekend would cost). I'd say the rooms are... More

We booked a small log cabin (#19) on the lowered winter rates for a mid-week trip to the beach. 19, though not directly on the bluff, has some partial view. Upon arriving though, we inquired as to whether any of the bluff cabins were open. For a small amount if money we were upgraded to #10, which shares a wall... More

Haven't been here in years but used to come every now and then. The setting is GORGEOUS and far away from everything, the cabins are pretty good sized (tiny kitchenettes but you'd be amazed how helpful they are to have), and we have always loved the beaches but it got too expensive. We got a groupon, though, and decided to... More
