My wife and I visited the Olympic Peninsula with very little planning going in. We didn't know what we'd find or how far we'd get each day, so we were fortunate to get a last-minute reservation at Kalaloch. The setting is beautiful and dramatic, with fabulous beach and forest views, but the outward appearance of the cabin compound is a... More

Our last trip was 7 years ago. We stayed in the beautiful cozy cabins as we did on the last trip. It allows travel with our 2 dogs. Beautiful scenery, beaches, and lodge. Cabins are warm and well supplied. Small kitchen has what you need for light meals. Fire wood is supplied for the wood stove. The restaurant was somewhat... More

My husband and I spent over a week at the Kakaloch Lodge. We stayed in a cabin with a kitchen. The kitchen had everything we needed to make and enjoy our meals. While the location is really in the middle of nowhere, it was a great starting off point to the many different forests in the National Park. Staff was... More

Wonderful location and great accommodations. Great staff and restaurant as well. Cozy and comfortable. Great for nature lovers and those who want to disconnect to reconnect. Would love to stay here again! Highly recommended.

This was the second year that we met with a group of friends and family. The first year we had a memorial service for a friend who loved going to Kalaloch. We had such a wonderful time that we decided to make this an annual event. We played games, had a potluck dinner, walked on the beach and played with... More

the service is great and it is just a beautiful place to be. It is paid back, friendly, and slow paced. It is a place to relax and unwind, not crazy party, and it is child friendly if the child likes to be outdoors. This is NOT a place for people who do not enjoy being outside! There is no... More

This friendly resort is perched above a wide walkable beach. The staff is uniformly friendly and welcoming. Each room had a walking stick and binoculars to borrow; they even thought to provide a flashlight for nighttime walks. The restaurant served good food at reasonable prices.

Our Girl Scout troop spent the weekend at the Lodge and it was perfect! One girl wants to live there forever. We all can't wait to come back. The beach was right out the door, and just down the road from gorgeous sea stacks and tide pools. So close to the Hoh Rain Forest. Excellent food at the restaurant, very... More

It was great to stay in the cabins with a beach view. Sunsets were amazing. Exploring the tide pools was also a lot of fun for both adults and my 4 year old. To be able to take a short walk onto the beach to enjoy watching the tide roll in and out was awesome.

The Lodge was a great experience. Due to getting turned around and distance to Lodge almost did not go but so very glad we did. It is a wonderful location, the rooms are excellent and the food was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
