Loved every minute of my stay here. The room was rustic but cozy. Pendleton blankets and hand whittled walking sticks add a charming touch to the overall experience. The fireplace and wood bundle were perfect for chilly evenings and the adirondack chairs on the patio provided a welcome way to relax outside with a cup of coffee while listening to... More

Such an amazing place. We stayed in one of the cabins that overlooks the cliff/ocean. Was beautiful, and also very close to Ruby Beach and the Hoh Rain Forest. A trip we will not forget. The general store on site was very handy, and the restaurant had some surprisingly good food (and service). I'm looking forward to when we can... More

The best part of our stay was the beach -- it's beautiful, with wide sandy stretches to walk on. Getting to the beach from the one available access point was hard for my elderly husband (no good handrail and logs to pick your way through at the bottom). We stayed 3 nights over the Memorial Day weekend in Room #15,... More

Our unit was unsatisfactory upon check in, but Sara Jane upgraded us and went above and beyond. We saw gray whales from our window (single cabin had full kitchen which was needed) and the Kalaloch beach had many tide pools loaded with starfish (bring water shoes) as well as Ruby beach and Beach 4 which were nearby.

My wife and I visited the Olympic Peninsula with very little planning going in. We didn't know what we'd find or how far we'd get each day, so we were fortunate to get a last-minute reservation at Kalaloch. The setting is beautiful and dramatic, with fabulous beach and forest views, but the outward appearance of the cabin compound is a... More

Our last trip was 7 years ago. We stayed in the beautiful cozy cabins as we did on the last trip. It allows travel with our 2 dogs. Beautiful scenery, beaches, and lodge. Cabins are warm and well supplied. Small kitchen has what you need for light meals. Fire wood is supplied for the wood stove. The restaurant was somewhat... More

My husband and I spent over a week at the Kakaloch Lodge. We stayed in a cabin with a kitchen. The kitchen had everything we needed to make and enjoy our meals. While the location is really in the middle of nowhere, it was a great starting off point to the many different forests in the National Park. Staff was... More

This was the second year that we met with a group of friends and family. The first year we had a memorial service for a friend who loved going to Kalaloch. We had such a wonderful time that we decided to make this an annual event. We played games, had a potluck dinner, walked on the beach and played with... More

the service is great and it is just a beautiful place to be. It is paid back, friendly, and slow paced. It is a place to relax and unwind, not crazy party, and it is child friendly if the child likes to be outdoors. This is NOT a place for people who do not enjoy being outside! There is no... More
