Wanted a motel close to NW Trek. Didn't expect a lot but the 4 of us (2 couples) were PLEASANTLY surprised! Super clean, tidy and large rooms, the same amenities as a more expensive motel, microwave, refrigerator, heater and glass glasses - not plastic! Extremely fun people in the front office! The best thing was the lovely free breakfast in... More

As a traveler who has been all over this country I must take a minute and say how incredible this place is. Staying here is much more than a simple accommodation as a way to gain rest before continuing on with your journey. It is an experience not to be passed up. From the moment I arrived Pam greeted me... More

Kinda pricey for such a small town but the place was very nice and very nice staff. I do think there were spirits in our room I caught a few on video. I know not everyone believes in this kind of stuff but I do.

We had a lovely stay. The gals in the office were over-the-top helpful. We had my mom, who is in a wheelchair, with us & the handicap room she had was exactly correct. (Other places have had just add-on hand holds on a regular tub as their handicap accommodations). We would ask for the handicap marker on the parking space... More

When I called back several weeks before arrival, to mention this was our 30th anniversary, Pam, the lady who runs the place said..."So?" I said chocolates? flowers? She said "Oh, we don't do that," and suggested buying flowers locally and she would put them in the room before we arrived. Didn't take her up on that. Just arrived and noticed... More

When we checked into the motel, there were hand-printed signs in the lobby on printer paper stating "No hot breakfast available". No discount was offered unless specifically asked for and then, the discount was $5 per person for the entire breakfast bar. In other words, if you took the discount you had to forgo the coffee, juice, cold muffins, etc.... More

Hotel is conveniently located to Mt. rainier. The room was huge, clean and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Our upstairs room had a gorgeous view of the mountain and we enjoyed cocktails upon sunset with the window and door open. Local restaurant next door. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

We had stayed here twice before, greatly enjoying the view of Rainier, proximity to the Park, and terrific breakfast. The third time did not disappoint, but showed us how incredibly wonderful the staff are. My husband had an emergent situation at his office, and it appeared we would have to drive 45 minutes each way to Puyullup to handle downloads,... More

We have stayed here for years. This year's visit showed an aging/declining hotel. Bed was comfy & bedding was clean but walls in bathroom area were very dirty, toilet was difficult to flush, and AC was very noisy.

I was here for 4 nights and it is a very nice, clean and comfortable motel. The room was large and I had a nice view of Mount Rainier from my second floor room. There was a microwave and refrigerator in room as well as coffee maker. Breakfast was basic but had several choices from cereal to hot items. Good... More
