My hubby and I stayed at the Kangaroo House B&B for 3 lovely nights. Our experience was wonderful! The house was beautiful and comfortable. The garden hot tub was a special treat (all guests can sign up for time slots in the secluded hot tub)--it was so relaxing and felt great on our sore muscles after a nice hike in... More

The owners of the B&B were incredibly sweet and welcoming. My dear friend, her 10 year old daughter stayed for a night and truly enjoyed watching for shooting stars in their hot tub. The breakfast was super delicious and the bed extra comfy! A real delight, not even to mention the loveliness of the island itself.

My wife and I stayed at the Kangaroo House in early October 2013 for 1 night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Charles is a great host, and made a fabulous breakfast for his guests. He was very helpful in pointing out things to do on Orcas Island, and shared with us after breakfast what it was like to live in... More

I booked my husband's birthday weekend at the Kangaroo House on Orcas Island at the end of September. Sadly, record rainfall in the Seattle/ Puget Sound/ Washington coastal region kept it from being as scenic and active a trip as we'd both imagined. However, the upside was time spent at the Kangaroo House. Proprietor Charles makes the ABSOLUTE best breakfasts!... More

Based on its reviews, we came to Kangaroo House with high expectations, and weren't disappointed. The house and grounds are gorgeous, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfasts are superb. Charles was extremely helpful to us in finding the right restaurants and seeing the scenery. He is a great fit for the job. Just perfect.

My dad and I stayed here for one night only and wish we had the chance to stay longer! One of the cleanest and friendliest B&Bs I have been to. Charles made a delicious, three-course breakfast and gave us plenty of tips for seeing the island. The rooms were well-priced and I will definitely be back.

We planned our trip to Orcas Island at the last minute. While waiting for the ferry, we were rather desperately searching online for a place to stay. I read about Kangaroo House, saw the great reviews and crossed fingers that they could accommodate 3 adults. Luck was with us! We arrived in time to drive down the road just a... More

Spent 3 nights in the Stellar's Jay suite at the Kangaroo House. We immediately fell in love with the craftsman-style inn with it's large porch, beautiful public rooms and our suite. The Stellar's Jay suite is composed of 3 rooms: entry/sitting area (with lovely stained glass window), king bedroom and private bathroom. There is a refrigerator in the common area... More

My daughter and I stayed here for a wonderful two-night get-away. Charles made us feel right at home, our room (Nuthatch) was perfect, and the breakfasts were scrumptious. We both loved the location, and Charles was a great tour director for us. I cannot more highly recommend this outstanding accommodation.
