This review was the result of an unfortunate incident after a miscommunication between our housekeeping department and reservations. We mistakenly thought the cabin was cleaned when it was in fact still dirty from the last guest. An honest mistake. Had our reservationist known the cabin was in fact dirty, we obviously would have taken other action. We take ABSOLUTE pride...

The cabin was cozy and inviting! Mother Nature added to the setting by throwing a dusting of snow on the ground and trees. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and made our stay perfect! Definitely on our list of places to stay!!! more

We stayed here in September of 2007. We looked at their website and thought it looked quiet, beautiful views, and would be a peaceful place. The first night we stayed it was all of that. However, the next day at 2:00 pm it became "spring break at Fort Lauderdale" when a huge wedding party moved into most of the cabins.... more

I am sorry you had a bad experience. We actually only allow wedding events at a location next to the resort property, and we do not allow wedding guests to rent our units because of this very problem. As it turns out, the group you are refering to rented our units all under different names, so we had no idea...

What a nice surprise! I had not even heard of this place until I came on TripAdvisor. The reviews here did it for us, so I contacted West Beach throught their website. My wife and I had our anniversary over the period we stayed at the resort camping (site 48). I can honestly say that we had a fantastic time. The site,weather and especially the staff made our stay very memorable( the sunsets are just as the web page describes them). My wife and I are looking forward to going back there... more

We focused on Orcas Island for a little get-away. We contacted the West Beach Resort and rented a cabin. They put us in Unit 20, all by itself in the woods. It was wonderful! Just what we wanted to relax. Would we go back? Absolutely! more

We loved the West Beach Resort on Orcas Island, WA. Clean and comfortable cabin (#14). Wonderful bay, we could see seals popping their heads out for the water from our windows. Very friendly staff, beautiful sunsets, a beach full with stuff to explore (with a 3yr old). Also the camping and RV sites look nice. We can recommend it -... more
