This was advertised as a deluxe two-bedroom unit, but it's really one bedroom plus a den. The den has a murphy bed, no closet or dresser, and is open to the living room except for an accordion type separator/door. Nice view, good location, nice staff. Although a "deluxe" level unit, it is pretty basic and in need of updating.

Overlooking a small park at the edge of East Sound (water) in the town of Eastsound, this Inn is situated at the edge of downtown with its many shops and restaurants. It is a quite location, the property is well kept and the well furnished rooms overlook the Sound. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent Restaurant's next door... More

Our stay was last minute, but amazing none the less. We had just finished up an evening of fishing and the owner of the hotel went above and beyond to accommodate us. She provided a pot for cooking our crab along with spices and directions! The room had stunning views and was very clean and comfortable. Great location!!! Looking forward... More

We stayed in Unit 205. We thought it was reasonable priced but the VIEW is the most important. We had lovely weather and spent a lot of the time sitting on the deck enjoying the view. It is a two bedroom, 1 bath unit with a kitchen. It was just myself and my husband and it felt very spacious. The... More

We enjoyed our stay at the island very much. It is beautiful and very peaceful. The facility is great and exploring Orcas and Friday Harbor was wonderful. The Barfield's condo is wonderful and our friends that went with us enjoyed it equally as well.

When we were gifted 5 days on Orcas Island, at the Barfield's condo, we debated who to take with us and chose our kids. We did not know what to expect. The facility was great and provided us with a pack-n-play for our youngest. The condo was clean and unlike other comments I would not say ours was dated and... More

My wife and I wanted to visit the San Juan Islands on a weekend since we live near Seattle. We looked around and decided to stay on Orcas Island, and figured somewhere in Eastsound would be most convenient. It was perfect! The area was great and the hotel itself was a very convenient location with a beautiful view and a... More

Normally, you get what you pay for. We paid $438 for two nights for a 3 Br accomodation. No view. Beds sqeekie. Mattress awful. Everybody woke up with sore backs. Sheets were very starchy. Pillows were actually noisy under head. Old brown shag carpet. Not enough kitchen ware for a 3 br rental. Only had seating for 4 people. Decks... More

This place could use a renovation. Our condo was well maintained but had an old gross very used feel. Brown shag carpet, gross vintage matching brown sink, toilet, and tub. Orcas island is an amazing place and the landmark inn was not. We were traveling with a pet and felt like we were given the kennel room. Fortunately they didn't... More

Our group had 3 condos here - none of them with much of a view, but that was OK. The gals at the front desk were friendly and very accommodating. The kitchen has very, very limited equipment and supplies. In fact, no blender, which was unusual.....and absolutely no spices. Fortunately, there is an excellent IGA grocery store in town that...
