Our room was beautifully decorated. Everything was clean and open and light. The balcony had a perfect view of the harbor. At night, the harbor is so still and silent. It was a perfect place for a our honeymoon!! The restaurant downstairs had delicious food as well. Very convenient if you don't want to drive into Eastsound for dinner.

Kingfish Inn was a great quiet get a way on Orcas Island. My husband and I traveled there and stayed for a week. View of the west sound was pretty, and plenty of hiking trails nearby. Although expected, there is no daily housekeeping service and no wifi. The cellular signal was not great for us on the island, but if... More

Beautiful spot and a very comfortable, nice room! Westsound Cafe was wonderful; close to the float plane dock, which is great, and a car or some kind of transportation is needed to get anyplace else on the island; it's about a 20 minute drive to Eastsound. Recommended!

We stayed here three nights in the upstairs suite. With some mobility issues, the hike up the stairs was a challenge but the room was cozy and lovely with a water few. We had a lovely walk along the harbour, it was equal distance to Deer Harbor and Eastsound. The food was wonderful, especially breakfast - . colorfully presented. Quiet... More

Kingfish is true to their word, they don't bother you during your stay. We were there 4 days and would have liked enough attention to fill the coffee and tea service and replace used cups and glasses, the bathroom sink was not well suited for dishwashing. The room was lovely, very well decorated and a very commfy bed. We didn't... More

We stayed for two enjoyable nights at the Kingfish Inn in the Lodge Pine room. It was very comfortable and had a great view of the harbor. Our only desire would have been for a king size bed....there was plenty of room for one. The breakfasts each morning were incredible gourmet meals. The location is perfect..... Although on the main... More

This location is both a wonderful relaxation destination and an incredible dining location. The rooms are clean and well furnished. The windows and balcony look out onto West Sound harbor and make for a relaxing tableau. Great amenities such high speed internet and HDMI compatible television (for the nerd to hook up their computer for either a little last minute... More

My husband and I stayed June 1 2013 in room 4. It was on the bottom floor and very private. It had a nice deck with a great view. There is a road between inn and beach. The address is East sound but is on West sound, a little confusing for a new visitor to the area. The room was... More

My husband and I stayed six nights at the Kingfish Inn in the upstairs corner suite (Madrona #1). We really enjoyed our room and the cafe downstairs had amazing breaksfasts and dinners. We ate at other restaurants but always came back to the Kingfish Inn for the food. I read other reviews of this hotel and while I understand that... More

I am not sure how I feel about this place. The room and view were very nice. The bathrooms are a little outdated. The showerstall was small. We arrived and could not find anybody onsite. Finally we called and were told our room key was in our door. Nobody stays onsite here or checks in with you to see if... More
