We stayed in the beautiful Primrose cabin last week of May and it was a perfect get away taking advantage of the sunny beach front view. The cabin has everything we were looking for: nice bed, clean rooms, eat-in kitchen , out door patio, and hot tub. Quiet at night , but stay connected with good Wi-Fi, and a quick ride to a few great restaurants and local eateries. Jennifer had some great recommendations in her booklet, don’t miss that ! The cabin has a short path leading to open view of ocean, and a private beach easy for us to set the kayaks down. We will definitely come back when we visit orcas island again.

I contacted Jennifer to see if the Willow cabin was available for a week in April, 2022. She stated that it was available so, I went ahead and purchased plane tickets and reserved a rental car. Jennifer then emailed me to state that since the Canada/US border opened yesterday, she would no longer accommodate my husband and I because she has a Canadian family that usually comes on that weekend. She had not even heard from that family yet to know if they were coming, but had zero concern for the $2,500 I had spent based upon her assurance that she would accommodate us. Even when I sent her a message requesting time the following month, she had neither the courtesy nor the professionalism to respond to my phone call, text, or email. This is a really shoddy way to run a business. I was in the fortunate position to make other, better arrangements, but for families with children or groups who are trying to coordinate schedules, this could have been a real mess. Since I am booking so far in advance, who knows what whims may have struck her between now and next spring. Maybe I dodged a bullet here. Renters - beware.

We stayed in Westsound House for our 31st anniversary celebration and could not have been happier with our choice. We brought our own kayaks and kayaked every day right off the private beach (several kayaks were available for guests as well). The south trailhead to hike Turtleback Mt. is fifty yards up the road, and the views are spectacular. We did not use the fire pit or the croquet set, but loved sitting in comfortable chairs on the lawn, reading, having a glass of wine, or just looking out over the water. The three other cottages are secluded and we did not really see them or their occupants, so it was quite a private experience. Peaceful and serene, comfortably furnished with oriental rugs, books and games on the shelves in the living room, water views from every room except the bathroom and the mudroom. We felt like we were visiting an old Orcas family friend's house. We plan to come back to Westsound House next fall.

Fantastic spot. Tucked away with perfect views and loads of charm. Sitting on the lawn (or any spot on the property) is just as enjoyable as the cabins themselves. Jennifer is truly lovely - a host who reminds you what hospitality is about.

We stayed at the Heather cabin one week for our honeymoon August 2020 and had a truly wonderful time. The cabin has large windows and breathtaking views of the West Sound. It is so fun to have paddle boards and kayaks there available at any time and loved the hot tub, which is clean and hot with good jet and light settings. Charming Orcas island itself has much to explore. There are many amazing restaurants (during the current climate, most if not all do takeout). There is beautiful hiking (Moran state park is a highlight). We saw orcas on a whale watch tour. Jennifer, the owner, is the sweetest- she went out of her way to make us at home and help arrange our stay. Watch out for the harbor seals! We saw them from outside the cabin and one swam up to say hello while we were out on the paddle boards.

Cabins on the Point is a truly special place. Having stayed at multiple locations on Orcas I will say this one is far and above anywhere I have stayed before. The attention to detail in the cabins, they are so cute! And the amenities are fantastic. A big lawn for games, sweet swings everywhere to take in the views, kayaks and paddle boards...even a hot tub! I hopefully with have the chance to go back many times. The best part, we saw ORCAS while sitting on the porch!! They put on a real show for us, breaching and slapping the water right there in the bay. Thank you to Jennifer and everyone involved in the best vacation of my life.

We stayed in the Heather Cabin at Cabins-on-the-Point on Orcas Island between 9/6 – 9/9/2019. It was a quiet, relaxing, and wonderful experience – a place to unplug, unwind, relax, and experience nature. The Heather Cabin appears to have been built perhaps in the 1930’s and retains its vintage charm. The Heather Cabin is very well maintained and has everything you need to be comfortable. The cabin is right on the water and the views are amazing and ever changing between morning, during the day, and at sunset. And you can enjoy the view from the picture window bedroom, from the many windows in the living room, and from vantage points just right outside the Cabin. Pictures describe better than words do, so here are some photos from our stay. Thank you, Cabins-on-the-Point. We’ll be back.

Enjoyed our stay and host was very accommodating. We were initially booked elsewhere on the island only to discover last minute that we were double booked. Sandora quickly got us in and made sure our stay was comfortable. Hot tub overlooking the Sound was an added treat!

My daughter, grandaughter and I had a great girls weekend in the Willow cabin. The cabin was so homey, warm, comfortable and really clean. Not a speck of dust anywhere. Jennifer met us when we got there and gave us tips on where to eat and what to go see. We were there on the off season, so not everything was open in town. She tracked us down in town and gave us the updated list of open business for the weekend. She knows everything that is going on. We loved visiting with her and the cabin was very relaxing, which is what we really needed. The cabin had great views. It has a fully stocked kitchen with all the basics. The beds were comfortable. I will be back again very soon. It was so relaxing. Thank you Jennifer!
