We had a Groupon we used to stay here. It turned out to be a screaming deal. We stayed in Seal Point, which is one of the larger houses. There are three bedrooms; each with its own bathroom. There were a washer and dryer, full kitchen and a beautiful wrap around deck. We reserved a larger ace because there were... More

This place is the best ever! Way better than a hotel or motel. There are several different cottages, each with it's own theme. We stayed in Orca Watch, which had a nautical theme. Everything you need is supplied from coffee beans to private hot tubs. The owner and her son were very nice and totally accommodating. It is right on... More

The Pros: Extremely friendly and helpful owner and manager Beautiful and quiet location with a view of the water Lots of character in what we saw of their cottages Amenities galore (hot tubs, sauna, tvs, dvd players, jacuzzi tubs, full kitchens, games, books, etc) The Cons: The cottages and the office aren't marked so it's hard to tell what's what.... Wonderful retreat! Stayed in a great cottage, Seal Point, with our family. Great home with great views. The kitchen was fully stocked and very welcoming. Private jacuzzi was the best. All the cottages are so unique and the property has lots of hidden paths and secret garden spots to explore. Owners very friendly and helpful. Magical!

My husband and I stayed Labor Day weekend in the Heron House and had a great experience! The cottage was unique, we had fun pointing out all the little custom made details that made up the Heron House. The cottages are also in a great location, close to the town and a great base to explore other parts of the... More

Stayed in the Heron Cove cottage. Lovely artist's cottage. It's like staying in an art gallery. Everywhere you look you discover something new. Beautiful view. Our cottage had everything we needed. Quiet and very comfortable. Owners very nice and accommodating.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay in Heron Cove. The cottage was built by renowned architect James Hubble and contains a bevy of stone and iron art. The petite two-story fairy-tale like cottage boasts an upper level porch, private hot tub, view of the Salish Sea, and a bath and a half. It's the perfect romantic getaway. I hope... More

We stayed in the Heron Cove for two nights and overall I was not pleased w withur stay. The uniqueness of the property is worth noting but it lacked many things for a comfortable stay. There was a lack of blankets, towels, and basic kitchen supplies. The towels were moldy and everything felt dirty. The family seemed very nice butWiuld... More

You can never have enough blankets, so even though we have extra ones for each level of Heron Cove, we shall be getting a couple more (hopefully ones with herons on them) upon your recommendation. With each new guest, each bathroom gets a whole newly washed set of towels and wash-cloths, and fresh extra towels and wash-cloths. We have not,... More

We stayed in the Orca Watch Cottage. The place is cute and has great views except it wasn't very clean. We must have killed about 30 flies in two days. Because of the flies, we didn't feel comfortable cooking in the cottage even though it was stocked with most of the kitchen essentials. The business seems to be run by... More

We are sorry that your time with us was less than satisfactory. In spite of our best efforts to make the property insect-free, once a year some flies manage to hatch out on somewhere on the property, and unfortunately, you were the ones there during those days. We apologize, and wish we could have given you another cottage that was... More

Each of theese cabins has unique themes but that can't make up for the dirt and lack of cleanliness. We stayed in the "Owl " building, the upstairs to a two story house still under construction. Our cabin was not ready or clean when we arrived, No towels and dirty dishes. needed to ask for toilet paper. You are climbing... More

Based on your review, we have changed our policy regarding early arrivals. Up until this, when guests came before the 2pm check-in, even though we didn't have the cottages ready we allowed them to move in, letting them know, we would need to complete our preparations however during their presence, so as to make their rooms as fresh and clean...
