My husband and I traveled to Orcas Island for my brother in law's wedding.. His parents, brother, and us slept in the biggest room available (reason for poor sleep quality). Rooms were very clean and beautiful. The view is just spectacular! I've been to caribbean locations but nothing beats this view. So peaceful, serene, majestic that it felt like heaven.... More

When I booked our rooms here for our extended family I didn't realize that a cooked-to-order breakfast was included. It was served in the dining room overlooking the water and couldn't have been better. The service was great, the food outstanding and the view was unforgettable. The rooms were good but the breakfasts made the trip. Orcas Island is a... More

Spent one night in the historic part of this hotel recently before our cottage was available. Well done! Exceptionally welcoming staff, small but big enough room for a short stay with a view of the harbor and island, and immaculate shared bathroom and shower, just fine for a short stay. Only problem was some noise from the restaurant until it... More

I take my grown daughters away each year on a trip, and this year we spent 4 days on Orcas Island and the Outlook Inn. It has a wonderful setting and marvelous views. The Inn offers perfectly adequate lodging and food but hardly worth the high prices charged for them. However, its major failing lies in the area of hospitality.... More

I am very sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with us. The most valuable feedback for us is in fact the "negative" feedback because it shows us where we need to grow and continue to improve. I would very much like to hear the details about how we could have served you better and how... More

Comment: We stayed in the junior suite # 41 at the Outlook Inn. The room was very well appointed, clean and spacious. The view from the balcony to East Sound was a partially obscured by a tree which was a bit unfortunate as I'd much prefer to see that beautiful vista instead of branches. I think next time I'll get... More

My husband and I stayed in one of their suites for two days. The rooms were immaculate and beautiful. The view of the bay was beautiful. The mattress was a bit too firm and the gas fireplace could have been a bit bigger. Once you sit on the balcony with your coffee in one hand and your spouse's hand in... More

Our recent visit to Orcas Island was elevated to a Four Season's like experience during our stay at The Outlook Inn. First impressions last - and from the time we made our reservations (thank you Tracy!) we were treated like royalty. Everything was perfection to the Nth degree. The staff (everyone) is always seeking to help and assist everyone (and... More

I, my wife and seven year old daughter stayed for one Saturday in April. We slept in the "Luxury Suite" which was the best room the hotel had to offer. The upsides were great, and at first everything seemed to be going well. The room was spacious and clean, the view was great and the room had good decor. A... More

We absolutely loved our room and all the special touches that the owners did to make our stay sensational. The location is perfect and the full service bar and restaurant downstairs made the whole visit perfect. I also have to rave about the comfort of the bed and bedding. I love hotels that use comforters and have upgraded their bedding... More

We spent one night at the Outlook Inn in one of their deluxe suites as a splurge for our anniversary and were very impressed. The room had a great view, large jacuzzi tub, gas fireplace and a flat screen TV with built in DVD player. My only complaint was with the mattress which was too firm and with the lack... More
